Mid-State Meats has a variety of food and meats. They sell high quality cuts of meat that taste very good when cooked correctly. Their deli meats are a little bit older than the ones at some other places, so they tend to expire a little bit quicker. They have very good subs for okay prices, and their heat and serve dishes (macaroni and cheese, raviolis, potato pancakes, spaghetti and meatballs, etc.) taste very fresh and are good last minute side dishes. Their macaroni salads and other salads are also very good and taste fresh as well. The staff here is very nice and friendly. Overall I would say this is a great place to go to get lunch or dinner items, not so much for deli meats though if you don't eat them quickly.

I should of written this a long time ago. I have been going to this butcher shop for over a year now and they are simply awesome. I always order their meat packages that come proportioned and all set just to put in the freezer. Never have to open it up cut it freezer pack it, its all set for you. The meat is always awesome . Never had a bad piece of meat from them EVER. Thank you mid state from a very loyal customer.

Been going here for over a year for all my cold cuts weekly. Twice in the past week I went to the store 30 and 45 minutes before they closed. The first time the employee came over and was visibly upset. I asked her if she was ok and she said "I just cleaned all the slicers" I felt bad so said I would come back. Today went again to go get my cold cuts 45 min before closing and everything is cleaned up and wrapped up. Sorry but you should close at 6 then so you have an hour to clean up. Lost a weekly customer for good now.

Great local deli. Can't beat the price and quality of their breakfast sandwiches. The staff is super friendly and the butcher was willing to go out of his way to acquire certian cuts of meat for us.

Chuck, round, and sirloin are all the same grind of meat. Left overs from all cuts at about 85% lean. They charge different prices for each. They wash and reuse styrofoam meat containers when meat expires. Many things that they say are homemade are not. Potato pancakea, bean salad, stuffed shells, swedish meatballs, chicken cordon bleu, and many other items they claim are homemade are not. I worked there. I felt bad lying to customers. It has bothered me ever since.

Decent subs. Good price. Service is unorganized and slow. Waited in store for 20 minutes for a sub and I was the only customer. They are probably getting beat by Monroe Deli who's subs are bigger and more organized.

Its nice having a local butcher so close to home. I usually find what I want meat wise. Was a little shocked recently at the price of some chicken I purchased, but that's the price you pay for convenience.

Really stands out as one of the best places you can get a sandwich within a 15 mile radius, and quite cheap too. It has become my new go-to place when ordering food.
