This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. They always cook good food. Our favorites are Chicken Quesadilla, Burrito Loco, and Carne Asada stake. Be careful as the portions are very big. Come to this place and enjoy some good Mexican food with a few margaritas. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I joined another couple for lunch at Mi Mexico in Wheeling, IL. The weather was perfect, so we ate outside in their attractive, well-maintained garden area. The menu is typical Mexican with a large variety of choices; prices were average for this class of restaurant. The Lunch Specials were many, all priced at $13.50 and served with refried beans, Mexican rice, and cole slaw. Items in the Supreme section of the menu include tortillas as well and are priced at $2.00 more. I chose the Chimichanga with chicken filling while my wife opted for the Expresso Veggie Burrito. Our friends chose Arroz Con Pollo and the Chicken Carnitas from the Supreme specials. The food was freshly prepared, tasty, and not overly seasoned or salted; portion sizes are about average. Service by Santos was rendered in a timely fashion. Overall, we were quite pleased and hope to return again, perhaps for dinner.

What a great experience! Visited for the first time recently with friends who happen to be locals from the area. It is their fav Mexican eatery and I can easily understand their repeat visits. Despite being a busy Friday evening, we were quickly seated and genuinely made to feel at home. The service and hospitality are second to none, matched only by the quality of the food. Fresh flavors, amazing seasonings and top quality proteins are just the beginning. Service was impeccable. It may be a bit of a drive for this Wisconsinite but we can’t wait to return!

The food is ok, but the prices are high. We have gone to this restaurant periodically for a decade because it was in our neighborhood, however the prices have gotten too high for the quality of the food. On our last visit, we had a table of five and they brought us a fairly small basket of chips. When we asked for another we were charged about $4.50. We will not be returning. There are better Mexican restaurants nearby that cost less.

Let me say that our lady server was EXTREMELY rude. No respect towards customers, does not know how to politely speak to customers to make their dinner and experience 🥘 enjoyable. They ruined our entire table order, couldn’t fix it twice. We had to simply cancel our order, pay for chips, salsa and drinks and leave. Never had this happened in our life. Seemed like a family owned business, where you can expect personalized service but forget that here. Salsa was water down. It ended with chips was being good. Rest is too much to expect here. Highly NOT recommend this place.

Wow that was soo delicious!!🤤 This place is the BEST around, hands down Mexican food. I give it 20/10 on the food, got two large combos for $16 each. You can taste it, it's so authentic & good size food portion. I'm just sad I haven't came sooner 😢 but now I know where is my "go to place for Mexican food, here!".

Had dinner here with a friend, son and wife had chimichanga's and I had fluatas. All the food was good. I have been to better Mexican restaurants but I have been to many more that were not as good. I would return again. Their bar has a great selection of premium tequila's as well.

First and last time we go here. Their food was terrible. Chicken burrito wasn't cooked all the way. They charged us $100+ for food that Taco Bell would've been better. We will never go back, that cook must've been on drugs or something cos he gave us àn uncooked Chicken burrito, my son threw up later that day. Service wasn't that good either, I think, they thought we were white/ Americans, they didn't care or even ask if our food was good. Anyway, we learned our lesson and we will never go back I don't like to complain or return my food cos I'm worried they might do something bad to my meal, that's why I'm writing this review. I would not recommend it. No way.
