This was our first time at this place. The Pollo Charo and fajitas were very good. The service was decent but not phenomenal. The price and atmosphere were okay as well. I would definitely go back given the opportunity.

had lunch with my wife here today. i had the arroz con carne and she had the arroz con pollo. both were very well done. the meat was not dry and perfectly portioned with the spanish rice and pico de gallo. the two tortillas that come with each meal were nothing different but they were warm. food came quickly no long wait. could have used more queso (cheese)sauce but all in all goid meal. prices were decent too. service was good but we were not checked on again after one stop by. staff speak both spanish and english.

Loud, packed full of all kinds of people, and exceptional service. Wow, had a craving and asked a local where to eat while I was staying at the hotel and he recommended Mexico. The food was as I remembered it from the Forrest Hill location. Craving 100% satisfied! Fast and polite service with spot on food. Not really authentic but it's perfect.

I'm glad to see that Mexico Restaurant is still here. I ate here back in 2008 with my brother and sister a few days before I went to Basic Training. I came back while I was on TDY to Fort Lee. It was as good as I remembered. The appetizer platter and the guacamole were outstanding. My favorite item was the avocado fries. I appreciate Mexico Restaurant making my dining experience a positive one in 2008 and then again in 2023.

We were looking for tacos after leaving a baby shower (only breakfast snacks), and Mexico Restaurant came up on the Google search. So happy we went! The service was so fast and friendly, and the food was terrific! The food was hot and fresh, portion sizes were big, and everything was so tasty! The menu is extensive, so we can't wait to go back and explore more of it!

Another local gem we've treasured for many years and visit at least once, sometimes twice a month. You've probably seen me in there. I'm the guy that always has the Corona in his hand and Salsa in his beard. It's tough not to make a routine out of a restaurant that has persistently proven an aptitude for exceptional service, atmosphere, and eats. An ideal option for those feeling particularly peckish, as not only is no time wasted bringing out actual orders, but the complimentary Chips and Salsa guarantee you'll be feeding your belly as soon as you're seated. I've developed numerous favorites, making it impossible to recommend just one dish. If you're here for the spice your best bet would be the Pollo Chipotle. For incredible flavor I'd have to recommend the Fajitas Texana, which features the perfect trio of Chicken, Steak and Shrimp. Moreover, nothing beats the smell and SOUND of that sizzle when it comes out.

The service was slow and the waiter inattentive even though there weren’t many customers at the time. Not really going to ding the poor guy because it appeared that he was the only one waiting tables, tending the bar, and the cashier? The food was decent and your average American style Mexican. Large lunch portions and not to hard on the pockets.

Usually the Mexican restaurant of choice when I’m up near laburnum. Drinks always have me sleepy on the ride home and the guacamole is always good. My love the Burrito Texano as it has chicken, steak, and shrimp. We also tried the beef and chicken tacos. The red salsa was too hot for me and the white sauce needed a little more something. Other than that, everything was fine.
