The staff is VERY polite & AMAZING! My food was made in a reasonable time and it was DELICIOUS & seasoned perfect. Everytime I come here I leave ALL smiles. And shout out to the cook, Diane, for her amazing hard but incredible work!
Stopped here for some local eats while we were traveling. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. There was a small kids section but offered the typical kid foods.
This place is amazing. If you’re on 45 between Houston and Dallas, the stop is well worth it. We had a burger, fried pickles, and a shrimp basket. The shrimp was fresh. The burger was about 1.5” think and cooked perfectly. I can’t imagine how you’d eat their triple burger. Everything tasted fresh and very good.
This place is ridiculous. Best burgers in TX. Cheese steak will blow your mind.
A bit of a hole in the wall but the food was delicious. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you are on a diet or have special gluten sensitivity; that said, if you're the kind of person who likes a burger medium rare and with bacon and a fried egg on top, this place is for you. The only reason for four stars is that I was under the impression that beer was served at the restaurant, when only soft drinks and tea were available. Great diner overall, would definitely stop by again on the way out of Dallas.
This place looked like it was a bad idea. My BF and I had just been driving 2,000+ miles and we're starving, we had to stop somewhere outside of Dallas traffic. This was the only place that looked like a decent mom/pop diner. So we stopped in trepidatiously and had a look at the menu. We start asking questions and generally talking with our server. Turns out she was the manager of the Metro Grill and not only is everything fresh daily, handmade to order, and the business will be expanding, but also there will be a hotel in the neighborhood soon. I've put this place on my favorites as a must stop when in the area. (I live in Houston.) Tl;Dr - fresh food made daily, and friendly atmosphere. Will be back for more.
Thanks for the fantastic service from Harley as we enjoyed our meals, all of which were well above the quality expected for Metro's small-town diner prices. Try some of everything! The wings were liberally brushed (but not drowned) with a garlic butter sauce that may be literally addictive. Our burgers were actually cooked to order (I have never paid less than $25 for a burger actually cooked medium-rare before today!), and the restaurant was clean and tidy. We will definitely be back.
Excellent food. Fresh. Amazing homemade queso. You have to try the specialty burgers, especially the old McDonald! Cheesteaks are the best. We eat there most every week. Great service too. We just found out today that they finally started selling liquor! Even better. Very clean restrooms too.
