We're so sad Meshi Ya is closing at the end of this month. Our Tonkotsu ramens were delicious and our bobas were perfect.💔 We'll miss this place.

The name of the restaurant has changed to Osaka. Hopefully google will be able to update with the name and new menu soon but my experience at this new location has been wonderful. From it's previous form as Meshi I was sure about ordering sushi but was blown away by how fresh and delightful the food was for a it being new to the location on the menu. As well as some of the favorites from the old menu still being include in the redesign of the menu, such as a vegetarian Ramen my partner got. The wait staff was super attentive and friendly. During mid lunch waited less then 5 min for the appraiser and maybe less then 15 for all meals to be sent out including our boba teas. Will be back again!

I almost missed the spot, but Google Maps reassured me it was the location. Got the Katsu Chicken Curry Don!!! It was delicious!! Taro Boba Tea for dessert. Staff was hella friendly and helped with local questions as well. Recommendation to the restaurant: would put a bright sign or more signage. Many love boba tea!! I would definitely go back!!

One of the BEST experiences so far at a Japanese restaurant! The prices are marvelous compared to other Japanese places in the area, I snatched up the Meso soup with no mushroom and the soup tasted so good, and the flavors went well with the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with popping Bobba. Also got the fried calamari which was a 5 🌟 also. I don't like Calamari but it was for my guest, but it was good.

I’ve been trying to find a good ramen place in Melbourne and sadly this is not it. This ranks extremely low in ramen that I’ve had. I thought this place was good due to the reviews but once you look at them they’re a lot of 5 stars reviews with barely any descriptions. The broth is very under developed, extremely thin and not flavorful whatsoever. To top it off they charge 13$ for the tonkatsu ramen and completely skimp you on the pork belly. They serve you the smallest thinnest slice of pork belly I’ve ever had, it was basically deli meat. I’ve never been served such a thin piece of pork belly in my life and I’ve been to plenty of ramen restaurants. The tonkatsu’s broth which is supposed to be rich and creamy (due to the collagen extracted from the pork bones) was about as thin as water. I also ordered the pork belly buns for 7$ and again was also served the two thinnest slices of pork belly. I uploaded pictures so that you can see it yourself and take your money to a place that actually gives you what you should be getting for your hard earned money

The place was very nice and clean the workers were very nice the soup I had was delicious and the spring rolls were perfectly golden and the shrimp with the batter was great I recommend this place:)

Overall good food and experience. The restaurant was clean, staff friendly. The Katsu Curry was delicious, good flavor with a kick to it. Chicken was crispy and well cooked. The ramen was ok, we’ve found better tasting elsewhere but for the price point it was good. The meat was delicious, but broth felt like it was missing something. For appetizers we tried the buns and gyoza, both were very delicious. Portions were perfect, not too small but not too much. The milk tea was delicious as well - we had the brown sugar. We would return.

This stop was the best part of my day...no month!!!! I saw this restaurant on Google maps. I pass it every day and never noticed it before. Today, my husband and I had time to kill and I wanted to try the tea, because of the great reviews I read. I am so glad I did! I had no idea what I was ordering but was educated on the different teas and toppings. I had a milk honeydew with popping leechee and my husband got Strawberry fruit tea with Passion fruit Popping bubbles. I can honestly say that was some of the best T I've ever had in my entire life and I plan on going back and trying different kinds. We also tried some appetizers, vegetable gyoza and shumai, which were amazing. The service was fast, the prices were very reasonable and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My only complaint was that I didn't try more food! I honestly plan on going back tomorrow!
