User Reviews

I’ve been wanting to come to this restaurant for a very long time. I thoroughly enjoyed every second I was there. We made reservations for an early Saturday lunch, and it was really nice. The customer service from the hostess to our waiter (with the purple hair) were extraordinary. The meal choices were amazing. We had the chicken and waffles and the avocado salad bowl with grilled chicken. The strawberry mock tail was refreshing. The space is wide and airy. This is a gem of a spot in the Third Ward. I will be back. . .

Had a reservation to meet some friends for brunch. That live in Milwaukee and we met them at this place. It did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was very bright and relaxed and the food was amazing. Large portion if you are a Milwaukee Boulevard apologize this is a good place to try

One of the most eclectic restaurants/ bars in the area. Located in a very convenient walking distance of most of the major stops in the Third ward. Service was fast and very friendly. Lots of different drinks and food choices. Patio was very spacious and dog friendly.

Had a reserved brunch for my 40th birthday and the most wonderful customer service in a pinch. I originally booked a place and had no communication from them 8 days before my event and got nervous. I found Merriment Social on OpenTable and they had great reviews. Joe was fantastic in reaching out, following through, and giving me my options. We booked the Mezzanine which was semi-private, but our own space. They created signature drinks and and a colorful menu. I really felt the love! The food was also fantastic! Everyone complimented the food choices...get the chicken and waffles and Brussel sprouts y'all! I'd highly recommend this place!

Good atmosphere, really quick service. The waiter River was friendly and explained the food well.

Open and airy industrial building serving some great food! Fish tacos were delicious as well as the award winning mac and cheese! Service was great as well.

Seated around 8pm. Got waters around 8:10, and drink orders taken. Got drinks around 8:30. Got order taken. Got food around 9:30. Got bill around 9:50. Paid bill around 10pm. Wow, what a ride this was. I had heard such great things about this place, but I don’t feel I have ever waited so long for food in my life. I have never been one to walk out of an establishment, but if I was alone or with a smaller group, I would have (and I kind of wish I had). The “award winning” mac and cheese was pretty boring for a $20 meal, and for $7 extra, the chicken breast was rubbery, hard to chew, and flavorless. It could have just been a bad night, but it was bad enough for me to spend time writing a review.

UPDATE: Returned for an evening outing. It is still great, although it is much noisier with the large doors closed and a bigger evening crowd. That did not detract from it just being a fun place! Our shared fries were perfectly done and the side of garlic aioli is a big plus! The artichoke dip bread bowl was super tasty but a bit unwieldy for sharing. We'd still get it again. As you can see from the pics, we made short work of them both! Special shout to Grace, our server. She was friendly and efficient. Sam, the owner, was making the rounds of the tables and was very nice. He shared that he is starting a neighborhood loyalty program with some seriously nice perks. Loved this place!! It was a warm night so we had the benefit of the open doors/walls. Staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions. I LOVED the citrus dessert.....outstanding!
