Breakfast Menu "Mediterra Cafe" Sewickley

The vibe is good and that’s it. Only a few food options are nice. Their tables are never clean, even after asking them takes them forever to clean. If we order coffee with dine in brunch, they won’t bring to the table even with the tip and expect customers to periodically check on coffee. Their toast is either too soft or too toasty.

Nice modern vibe, food is delicious. I got the mushroom Brie sandwich and my wife got the avocado toast. It’s a bit pricey but the old saying ‘you get what you pay for’ certainly applies here!

This place would be right at home in San Francisco. Obviously commanding high prices for the area, they’re using and casually selling incredibly high quality and locally focused foods and ingredients galore here. The menu changes and is focused on a smaller amount of offerings to enable higher quality throughout that selection. That’s perfect. Nobody needs 50 options for breakfast. Recommend any sandwich with avocado or their myriad drinks. Service is slower because everything is made by hand, but don’t let this be a detractor at all. We waited maybe 8-9 minutes. Totally acceptable. Such a treat to see this pop into existence here, a well deserved taste of sustainable dining and shopping. From wines to pastas to sauces, cheeses… it’s like the fanciest little parts of a grocery store conveniently located on the main sewickley drag. Love it!

The staff was really prompt and helpful and nice! All the food was so so delicious. The pricing was a little bit high but you really do get what you pay for and the portions of the quiche that I got today were huge! And it came with a small salad With a really fresh tasting dressing. We also got the blueberry oat bar and the sprinkle cupcake. They were running a deal on a cheaper one price on the pastries! They also have a pretty decent size shop full of sauces bread and cheeses and wine. They also have pizza it was really delicious!

First, the pastry here cannot be matched in Pittsburgh. And I live a block from a rather famous French pastry shop. The croissant is as good or better than many I’ve had across France. Alas…after waiting in line (not a problem) I purchased several items and ordered breakfast, which was packed to go without even asking me if I was dining in. I was. Then I had to ask repeatedly where to find silverware and come BACK up to ask for a plate, and was met with “well I didn’t know you were eating here”- right. You didn’t bother asking. I came for the delightful food and for what used to be a charming experience. I left having spent a lot of money on a less than delightful meal. Ew.

Very very delicious food and interesting bar! My gimlet was not really a gimlet but I liked the atmosphere and food a lot

The best Cappuccino in Pittsburgh region!!!!! I love it here. Delicious food. Everything to eat is like a party in your mouth.

Love everything about this breakfast spot. Food always taste fresh. They have many options for pastry and sweets and they all look delicious. Coffee and other beverage such as matcha latte or fruit tea are also good. We have been coming here almost every weekend.
