Super low-key and very fresh fast Mexican food. Everything is made to order and can be customized. I'd never even thought about what ingredients I wanted in a chimi until I was being presented with all of the options. The woman building my burrito was super patient and nice enough to give me some pointers - specifically about which sauce would likely be too hot for me. Super relaxed vibe, very nice staff, fresh fixings, and beer. Really a hidden gem in north Fountain Hills.

Food was good, a bit expensive for serving size. When making our plates, the server was in a rush and not friendly for a first-time visitor. Seemed a little expensive for walkup service. We had two 2 taco plates with small sides of rice and beans covered with lettuce, 2 beers, 2 guacamole servings on Styrofoam plates with plastic utensils for $38.

Very authentic. Very good good. I keep coming back time and time again. Do yourself a favor and try the tacodillas.

There are so many hot sauce options! The sauces are very spicy. My husband enjoyed building his own burrito and chimichanga. The staff is very friendly. The art in the restaurant is tasteful and adds a nice ambience. The front outdoor seating faces a beautiful mountain view.

Super tasty food. 1st time there so didn't full understand how the place worked. Now that I am smarter 2nd time will hopefully be less stressful. It's great the staff knows what's going on, but not so much when the patrons are lost. Will try again

Very authentic and spicy, and the food is freshly prepared. Very good for the price. 1st time trying this place, and I was not disappointed. The salsas are delicious! Try the #17 Sope plate.

Really like this little place. Stopped there for the first time, just before Christmas. Great artwork on the walls, and great food. The staff tried to warn me that what I was ordering may be a bit spicy for my liking. I was feeling brave, but they were right. It was still delicious though. But ask questions and listen to the staff when it comes to recommendations. They are very helpful. If I have a complaint, it's that it's in an odd part of town. There are a few other restaurants there, but it's certainly not in what I'd call the main part of town. Though I imagine the rent is more reasonable there, so I'd rather take Fountain Hills WITH this great little taco shop than be without them because rent was too high in another part of town.

Food: Cafeteria food, nothing authentic about it. Terrible meat, the rice isn’t mexican, even the cheese they use tastes terrible. Drinks: Ordered draft beer with tajin on the rim. “We’re out of draft.” Okay, bottled beer with tajin. “We only do tajin with michelada.” Okay, I’ll have a michelada. “We don’t have michelada.” 🤔 Price: Unreasonable. $36 for burrito (tasteless), small quesadilla (low quality cheese, very little meat), and a margarita.
