Breakfast Menu "Mary's Bakery" Little Elm

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! We went for dinner and the food was so amazing that we had to go for breakfast the next day. The owner Cynthia has created a remarkably authentic experience though her food and transports you to mexico through the flavors. It feels like a mini adventure as all the flavors and textures combine in your mouth. You feel like you never want to get off the ride. The wonderful smells from the kitchen tantalize your senses and start your mouth watering for all the delicious flavors you are about to taste. The Barbacoa is so fresh and not fatty like you find at most places, in fact I liked it so much I had to get 2 more tacos with my meal. My friend had the fajitas plate and the meat was so tender and flavored just perfectly. For breakfast I had the Huevos Con Chorizo and I couldn't get enough, if I wasn't already full I would have gone back for seconds!! The chorizo was perfect! The tortillas were delicious!! And the rice was fluffy!! I can't wait for them to move to their new location just around the corner. They will also be getting a new name in a few months so don't think they just disappeared, they have only moved to another building so they can get the exposure they deserve. So happy I have finally found my authentic Mexican restaurant, the search is over!

Decided to have breakfast here when visiting my daughter. There was a change of ownership about 9 months ago but she had never been. The breakfast menu was small but we were told we could order anything on the menu. My daughter ordered the huevos rancheros, her friend the breakfast burrito & I ordered the bistek ranchero from the lunch menu but asked them to cook 2 eggs over easy, put them on top of the steak & then add the ranchero sauce on top. They were amenable to this & breakfast was delicious. The coffee was fresh (not brewed until I ordered it) & the service was excellent. The only disappointment were the corn tortillas which were store-bought & just ok. I gave the place 5 stars because the food was great & the staff went out of their way for us. My table shared an almond pastry that was to die for. We were discussing my daughter's art reception & asked the owner if he made platters, which he did. He filled up a 14 x 18 inch platter of cut up pan dulces finger-food syle for $25 in a very nice presentation. My daughter & her friend liked Mary's Bakery so much, they're making plans to come back. If I lived in the area I would go back too.

Excellent place to eat!! Best authentic real Mexican food, service was great. Breakfast served all day. Get the Almond crossiant for dessert. It is a hidden gem!!!!!!

Excellent food. Super friendly. Usually have lunch and a pastry. They serve real Coke also. Recommended.

Try the barbacoa tacos. Maaaaaan they are good. Plus the staff is very friendly.
