I stopped into Mari's Kitchen to treat my brother to a delicious Puerto Rican meal. I brought him pollo guisado y arroz con gandules, sancocho con arroz blanco y una malta. Delicious! So close to where I live. So glad I found you, Mari. Dios me la bendiga...hoy, manana, y siempre!!! I have to return to try the mofongo...pernil...alcapurrhias...etc.

Really Puerto Rican food!! Love it!! Friendly people family business!!! Anyone should go and try it!!!

This is such a great family place food is delicious and everything is fresh Mari and her son Thomas treated us like family we will be going back for our great Puerto Rican food

I am Puertorican and wanted some of the delicious flavorful food that I know Puerto Rico has to offer. I searched for restaurants in the area and chose Mari's Kitchen. The staff was very nice but the food is another story. The sorullos (corn fritters) were extremely over cooked so we had to throw them out and online it says you get 6 and we only got 3. We also got arroz con gandules and a side of habichuelas (red beans) both were very bland. Last but not least we got two orders of flan for dessert. First of when I went to open the flan it didn't look appetizing so I opened it and smelled it just in case. The smell was bad it smelled like old flan but we gave it the benefit of the doubt and had a small bite. It did not taste good so we threw that out as well. We are very disappointed in our choice of restaurant not only did we not have the delicious puertorican food we were expecting but it was a waste of money as well. If you want to have great tasting Puertorican food I do not recommend this restaurant.

Mari and her sons are very nice & humble people. I'm usually very picky because I'm spoiled by all the amazing Puerto Rican cooks in my family but this food never disappoints! Everything from empanadillas alcapurrias pernil arroz con gandules even the flan (and I usually don't try flan at places because most of the time it tastes like eggs) is amazing!!! Thank you Mari and family for amazing food and great service!!! Even my family in PR wants to come and try

Found this little gem today. Excellent food; I had pernil, rice, beans, maduros. Loved the food. Great prices. Wonderful conversation and service from the owner, chef, entrepreneur Mari. Will be back as often as I can get there and they deliver when I can't. I left with a smile and feeling satisfied.

The food was delicious. We ordered arroz con gandules, pernil, bistec encebollado, pollo al ajillo and everything was great. What my husband and I loved the most was the service. Mary was so nice and welcoming and her son Tomas was very attentive. Thank you so much, Mary, for such a great experience!!

I was there yesterday September 31, 2017. It was my first time buying food at Mari's the food was delicious. I definitely will go again. I am ftom Jackson. N.J. but every time I visit my daughter at Saddle Brook I definitely will go.
