Visited today and ordered the smokehouse brisket egg sandwich. Service was quick, good customer service and sand-which was good ! My only suggestion is changing the ordering. You place your order over the counter. Then go to the register having to repeat what you ordered, so you can pay.

Used to go there about once a week after dropping my kid off at school. Really liked their bagel sandwiches. Went today for the first time in a little while (summer break) and almost all the people are different. The person who took my ordinary, regular, order was unfriendly to the point of being rude. Also the fountain drink machine was not working and looked like it hadn't in some time since they rearranged the store to put the Snapple drink fridge right by the register. Maybe a bad day but looking at other recent reviews it seems like something has changed. Shame because I used to like the place.

I asked for my egg sandwich to be cut in half and clearly it was not. Now I’m at work trying to cut the sandwich with a plastic butter knife as the egg and cheese slide off. What food establishment that sells sandwiches only cut a sandwich by request?? This inconsistency in service was the last straw for me.

My wife and I thought the last reviewer was just being dramatic. (We love Manhattan Bagels!) But sure enough, No Air Conditioning whatsoever. I felt like I was waiting for my bagel in a sweat lodge. Is it even safe to be making food in that kind of heat???????????

The bagels are amazing. The service leaves a lot to be desired. I guess it all depends on who you are...I notice that when I come into the store I don't always get waited on with friendly service like most of the other patron. But that happens a lot in NJ to people with color. I decided to try another location, I don't like to spend my money in places that can't show me the same respect as everyone else.

Great location and food! I usually come here for Too Good to Go orders and they always have it bagged up and ready to go! You get a ton of food for what you pay. Staff is always very sweet and kind

(Response to MB is below) I actually LOVE this bagel place, and come here every week, but the air conditioning situation is beyond ridiculous by now. Just standing inside for ten minutes to get a bagel this morning I nearly passed out. I asked the employees and they apologized, but said their boss just tells them the AC is fixed. It has been MONTHS of this. I honestly can’t imagine how terrible it must be for the (very nice and friendly) people working there all day. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere until the boss decides to treat their staff (and customers!) like human beings, and I’d highly encourage others to do the same. EDIT: Manhattan Bagel, I’m not reaching out to your HR department for you just so you can hide this serious safety concern through private channel and bureaucratic lag. It’s a basic business expense. Get the Moorestown location air conditioning before I permanently switch to Dunkin, Wawa, or the thousand other properly air conditioned breakfast places I (and literally all of your customers) can go to.

I really have grown to enjoy the Farmhouse breakfast sandwich from Manhattan Bagel. So much, that I have often stopped here about once a week or so for the past couple years. However, I have made the decision that today's Farmhouse was the final one. This decision comes from one other consistent factor that I have experienced here as well, which is that there is one particular employee at this location who makes me feel unwelcome. I do not know a name, but the interactions I have are usually that she takes my order and/ or hands it to me when my order is ready. I try to maintain a calm demeanor in general, exercise proper manners, but no matter what, even if I say thank you when receiving the order, there is no version of a response, and her overall demeanor is just negative. And today, the bag was thrown at me when the order was ready- I just don't get it. It is for the above reason that I will not return again. I am not expecting people in public-facing jobs to go above and beyond, but it would just be nice for the transaction to contain some level of common decency. I know I am not likely to receive a breakfast sandwich as good as the Farmhouse elsewhere, but there is a McDonalds less than a quarter mile away where I'm sure minimal expectations are likely to be met (especially since McDonalds expectations rank lower already).
