Honestly I'm very disappointed. The service was good, the biscuits were good, and I loved the banana pudding. Other than those three things everything was barely acceptable. The food temperature all seemed like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The fried chicken was slightly crispy and not much flavor. All the food was pretty bland and the sweet potato casserole which I was really looking forward to was most definitely from a can. The broccoli casserole was the only other good food item. The banana pudding was great and the only reason I gave this place 2 stars. The first star was for the bread and the service. The bathroom was also gross and smelled pretty bad. The guy cleaning the tables didn't take everything off of the table before spraying it so whatever solution they spray with is all over the salt and pepper containers so don't use those. The floors should also be swept after a messy family leaves. This was our last meal before returning home so I'm a little sad to be leaving on such a poor note.

Well..we were pleasantly surprised. Some ratings and reviews were a little worrisome but we try to make our own opinions about places. We were looking for a place to eat dinner on our last night in town. Wanted something family style/all you can eat and didn't want to have to go back to The Island just for Paula Deen's restaurant. Mama's Farmhouse has some new fans. We really enjoyed the homey atmosphere and the sweet employees . Elizabeth (Brooke) was our waitress and was so nice and attentive. Food was nicely flavored and we ate our fair share! Would definitely come back if we are ever in the area again. The chili was my favorite!

So for this place to be and all you can eat eatery, I was hoping for a bit more but instead was let down. The reason for that is yes you can't eat all that you can eat but for the bowls that they bring out to serve the table is clearly not enough. So we're stuck trying to feed a family of four with bowls and you may have like two or three spoonfuls of food on your plate. I think for the price that you're paying for your food, bigger plates of food should come out instead of those small servings of food. The server was fantastic. It was more or less just what was coming out. I ate till I was okay. I was not full because I was tired of having to go through those small portions of food they were bringing. So we just ended our dinner. What I recommend this place as an eatery, no I would not. But hey you guys may like it. I won't be going back. Hope you guys enjoy.

1 star for ample outdoor porch seating and family games outside! This was the highlight of the restaurant experience for many kids. 1 star for a classic farmhouse aesthetic, many rooms and large family tables. 1 star for fresh, hot, delicious food. You don’t necessarily order from a menu- they drop off shareable plates of breakfast food and you order more of whichever you like. 1 star for staff! They were all so friendly. 1 star for cleanliness.

The food was amazing and it came unlimited. Every dish had country home flavor. I give this place an A+. The price was great, the service is great and everything tasted amazing.

Family style dinner featuring fried chicken. Beautiful country style setting, servers are friendly and helpful. You and your family will enjoy this restaurant. Highly recommend. Dessert is included with your meal...order the apple crisp.😋🙂

We had a wonderful breakfast at Mama's Farmhouse. We weren't sure what to expect because looking online it was hard to determine the menu. The way it worked for breakfast was they served every thing listed on the little menu family style and they will refill items as needed. One thing we didn't realize was you have to request the waffles, they're included in the price but made to order. Definitely ask for the waffles, they were delicious. Our server was so nice and attentive. We had a great time and I am glad we decided to try it out!

This is an all-you-can eat restaurant where they take the food to your table and you eat what you want and ask for more or get other dishes. The menu is made up of the regular southern staples: biscuits and gravy, ham, fried chicken, fried okra, corn on the cob, dumplings, mashed potatoes, etc. The food is rich. Be ready. It was pretty good, but not a lot of diversity in the flavor. Our waitress was an awesome older lady who treated us like she knew us since childhood. She was awesome.
