November, 2017. The staff conveys a true sense of southern hospitality. There are several wall hangings honoring veterans. The prices are very good for the portion sizes. The parking lot has respectable size stalls and I appreciated that when trying to park a Yukon rental car. It is somewhat loud and the food is good (not great). The employees, portion sizes and prices convinced me to give 4 stars instead of 3. I plan to return when I visit Fort Smith again.

Mama's is a good place to eat. Pretty good food for a decent price. The staff are nice enough. The restaurant decor is dated and a bit dingy. The wait time wasn't great (they aren't exactly slow, but I wouldn't call them fast either). I ate there almost every day because of the convenience and value.

A wonderful friendly place. The food is great. Country cooking it is. If you haven't tried it, you need to. The only problem is she's hard to get into. She's so busy. She's would like to find a bigger place close into fort Smith area. I will be glad when she can. She's in barling ar, right now. But worth driving out there for.

First time here. I've heard good things about the place so I was disappointed. We took our seats. After we ordered we waited and waited before we finally received our food. No surprise, it was cold but we were out of time so we ate it. The server didn't even refill our coffee or water. We were pretty much ignored while regulars were greeted by name and given plenty of attention and service. Several tables that ordered after us received there food before us. On the way out we even had to wait for the cashier. I asked him to add a tip to the card and let him know the waitress didn't earn it. When he learned details, he said he would have promoed the meal had I told him before he ran the card. I plan on visiting at some point in the future. I know it will be better.

Not many offerings for a gluten-free gal, but their "country cuisine" was really good per the hubs (chicken & dumplin's). Bacon cheeseburger sans bun (aka "cheeseburger salad") with tots was nothing extraordinary, but was good. Typical family-friendly cafe set-up with good service & good sweet tea. Today's special was fried catfish and their marquee said they're staying open until 9pm (new hours) on Thurs-Fri-Sat now. I noticed meatloaf was one of the daily specials (don't remember which day), and they also had an open-faced hot beef sandwich and pot roast on the menu (just a couple items that were memorable) Oh yeah, the breakfast menu is available until 2pm.

Friendly service, yummy home cooked food, cheap prices! Great place all around!

Great food, and atmosphere.

I just love this place. Everyone is so friendly and the food is the epitome of good 'ol southern home cookin'. Coffee is awesome too! All the local veterans come here as well. And Mama herself is the bomb!
