Customer service was awesome. The cashier greeted me as soon as I walked in, she was knowledgeable and made recommendations! 5 stars for service. 3 stars for food because...it wasn't very good. I got jerk shrimp and chicken Alfredo. The shrimp taste like they were bought cooked and the restaurant just thawed them and added jerk sauce. The jerk sauce taste like a cheap store bought, not home made, my broccoli was barely existent and very over cooked, also the pasta and sauce was very very hot which makes me think it was sitting somewhere on low heat for a long time. The Alfredo sauce is a cheap jar sauce. Also my pita bread was hard and dry also indicating the food is just sitting in the kitchen. It's like $12 for a half order... The price does not match the quality! At all. I would not return to this establishment again.
I had high hopes for this place. I was very underwhelmed by the quality of the food. Pictures say a thousand words but it did not hit the mark of taste. It was not worth 30 bucks for two fettuccini chicken and shrimp dinners. Skimped on the Alfredo sauce, 50% dry noodles. Chicken was small kids Bits, about 5 shrimps. I probably won't be back.
The chicken wings tasted like lighter fluid and the "Alfredo" sauce had the consistency of milk with garlic powder. Also, the chicken wings did not have the authentic "traditional" jerk flavor. Worse $20.00 I've spent on food to date, I shall not return.
Great food AND service. The wait is a bit long, but you have to expect that when you're receiving a fresh and hot meal. Call in your order ahead so you're not standing around inside, and be prepared to taste the best *fast* food Matteson has to offer!
The food is great! Cashiers need to work on their customer service skills but the cooks are nice. Order ahead if you're in a hurry.
The food is good and it's great to have a nearby black owned restaurant but the wait can be long at times. I highly recommend if you not in a big rush.
They move extremely slow and very bad customer service. I waited a whole hour just to be told they lost my order, so long story I never received my order or an apology. The only thing I received was a refund, they told me that I could not receive my order because the girll was off and that they would not turn it back on to cook my order. That was my first and last time here, they do not know how to treat their customers
They have really good food ive sent lots of people there i used to come everynite 4 dinner then all of the sudden it got bad hair in my jerk chicken alfredo i dunno how u do this to a repeat customer mabye cause im white they dont like me but i used to go everynite til i found hair in the pasta n its bs cause i used to love that place n when i called to let them know there was hair in the pasta she said i was a liar.
