Great little place! Ordered my Thai restaurant benchmark: Chicken Basil with Fried Egg. Did a terriffic job with it. Complex flavors and spiced as I ordered it: "Thai spicy". Also tried and loved Chive dumpling appetizer. Ate at the one tiny sidewalk (diesel dining - see pic) table. The server was friendly and informative. I'll be back. Pad Kee Mao next time and Maenam Pork Soup (with meatball) and Noodle Bowls when it's cold out. BYOB. $24.55 w/tax, with plenty to take home.

The food is amazing, absolutely delicious, good-sized portions, and they're the nicest people. Prices are very good too. Best steamed veggies I've had. I work down the road, and it's nice to have another option.

Food is always great! Service is friendly and prompt. The owner really looks after first responders too. My coworker and I got dispatched and didn’t get our dinner or a chance to come back for it and the owner recognized me right away the next morning and remade the food, I never even had to ask for a thing. Definitely one of my favorite places for dinner.

We picked up take out tonight and it was fantastic! We tried a number of dishes and all were really fresh, flavorful and spicy (we picked a “medium” spice and it was just right for us… spicy but.not ‘melt your face’ spicy) but the chicken w/tamarind, the Thai street noodles, and the green curry really stood out… and the dumplings! So good! Would highly recommend!

Great little Thai place, got the Ginger stir fry. First time customers, will be back to sample the rest of the menu. Friendly and fast service, I called ahead as I know it gets busy. The stir fry was very good, nice sizeable portion, I'll have some leftover for tomorrow! The place is pretty small inside, and has a few tables for indoor dining. If Old Thunder next door doesn't have a food truck available or you're craving some Thai food, do yourself a favor and grab to go, excellent with a nice Pils or lager.

It's a nice hole in the wall place. I'd recommend if you were in Blawnox, but other than that, it's pretty forgettable. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu, fried tofu bites, spring rolls, and a Thai iced tea. The food is a bit more expensive than competitors such as Smiling Banana Leaf. I thought the Thai iced tea was excellent. Good size and lots of flavor. It's not just all sweetness; you can truly taste the tea blend. When it comes to the main dish, the Pad Thai, I was a bit disappointed. The portion is excellent. I was surprised by how heavy the dish was when I picked it up. To add to that, the tofu soaked up the sauce very well and was overall quite tasty. However, the flavor of the noodles was unexpected. It had too many scallions which lead to an unpleasant oniony flavor to the noodles. The dish was also on the oily side. I enjoyed the spring rolls. Portion is okay and the sauce is standard, maybe a bit on the spicier side. They are packed with vegetables. Personally, I would not recommend the fried tofu appetizer. The tofu on its own is extremely bland; tastes like you are eating rubber. Even when you try smothering it in the tasty peanut sauce, it's still not very good. Overall, I don't think I'll return here, for there are many genuinely great Thai restaurants in Pittsburgh. Some elements, like the Thai Iced tea and spring rolls, were quite good. The Pad Thai and tofu appetizer left much to be desired.

Tiny place (only seating for 6) but it was amazing! Complex flavors, perfect spice level, and excellent portions (especially for the price)! The menu has so many great options I had trouble deciding, but I'll definitely be coming back.

New tables look nice and add a lot. Small dine in area but wonderful, flavor-full food. Authentic Thai food and reasonably priced.
