The best Italian Ice around! The staff is very friendly and the chocolate chip cookies are very good. 7/12/23 Went for my first Italian ice of the season. As usual, it is delicious!!! You can tell from the picture that the chocolate is my favorite but the lemon is also outstanding!!! Anybody that eats Rita's Italian ice is a fool! As far as I'm concerned, Rita's ice is fake!
Really love the Italian ice (pina colada & kahlua) are my favorites!! *These two flavors have dairy… others like Lemon, Cherry, Watermelon are ice only. Great price value too!
Fresh pastries, great Italian icy , loved the fact that it’s family owned since it’s a rare find. The family enjoyed coming here and we will continue coming here I definitely recommend to those who are looking for a old style feel and taste.
Amazing Italian ice and amazing ownership. I don't write reviews often, but felt like I needed to for this place. One of our family's favorite flavors was discontinued last year, and I got a call from Jerry (the owner) today saying that they have it back in stock-months later!! Their flavors can't be beat, and ownership like that just puts them over the top. Can't wait to be back!
Very friendly establishment. A large assortment is available. Although there are better bakeries, there are none closer I can recommend to go. Service is great. The young ladies there are courteous and very helpful. I'm never disappointed. BTW... it also sells Italian Ices as well. One should not be disappointed. Can also get busy at times, which would lead one not to worry much about its goodies.
Was having a serious sweets craving and decided to try them and definitely did not regret it! They probably have the best black & white cookie I've ever had. The birthday cake rainbow cookies are super delicious as well! Would recommend if you prefer sweets on the sweeter side!
I grew up in Lyndhurst back in the 1970s and the Lyndhurst Pastry Shop is been a staple of the town for far longer. Everything they make is amazing, from the cookies to the fresh stuffed canolies. If you want fresh baked treats and friendly service then stop in and see what they have to offer. Also their Italian ices are worth a separate trip and they have a walk up window
My family and I have been here dozens and dozens of times. 90% of the time we just get the Italian Ice. The quality is consistently good, and the service is excellent and friendly as well. The pastries inside are always fresh and made with high quality standards as well. The CANOLLI CREAM is our favorite ItalianIce. I taste tested the PUMPKIN Ice today and it was superbly blended. You can't go wrong with this place. There's a reason they have been here over 70 years. The product speaks or itself!
