Had them cater my son's rehearsal dinner. Unbelievably excellent food, everyone was very complementary. I booked them three months in advance and they stayed in close communication with me and delivered everything they said. No hassle for a big event and they saved all the leftovers for me.
I got a cheese burger with fries and as for sides, I got a mash potatoes, Mac n cheese and corn bread. The cheese burger tasted so good! Authentic BBQ taste! And the fries were seasoned to perfection! As for the Mac n cheese, it tastes so good! The cheese and seasoning were on point! The corn bread tasted fresh and overall it was a great meal. Why the 4 stars? Well.. the mash potatoes tasted like it was from the box. If you know... You know. The boxed potatoes have a distinct texture and taste.. which is what I tasted! I am a little disappointed that their mashed potatoes was this low quality when everything else was so high standard... I will definitely be going back but avoiding the mashed potatoes unless they change the recipe/product.
Great BBQ spot. My ribs yesterday were a bit tough and little dried out but I think may have been due to a huge order just being filled so may have just gotten what was leftover. Not stressing it though. Still My go to spot for BBQ. Now if it happens again, I'll have to reevaluate but for now still A+.
The staff okay the ribs were very burnt, and I asked for potatoe salad it was the worst potatoe salad in the world you would've thought a 4 year old made it all that pepper no salt alot mayo very Nasty the green beans very heard and crunchy nasty never again will I go back I spent 35$ there and threw it in trash my husband and I was so mad we went to fat Jack's food was good a tasty
This was our first time getting food from Lumpy's. It will not be the last. The food was delicious. Baraque chicken, burnt ends, pulled pork. The sisides were delicious also, mac and cheese, mashed sweet potatoes and green beans. Delicious
First timer today and tried the burnt ends platter with coleslaw and corn bread. Definitely not great bbq at all. Burnt ends were hard and smoothed in bbq sauce that was too think and tangy. They need a white bbq sauce. The coleslaw was tasted generic like a school cafeteria and what they call corn bread was like a flavorless cake. It was a wasted meal on my part and won't go back.
Lumptys is the spot of all spot for BBQ and the best cheese steaks slinging out of south jersey hands down... and the service always on point food stay hot and ready better then little Ceasars if u haven't had it get if u had thought about it think it food is too good good
Great food and service. 1st time there. My co-worker recommended I try this place for great ribs and great BBQ. Looking forward to going there again for the sides as well as corn bread, brisket, and pulled pork.
