Great classic Chicagoland sandwich spot right in downtown Mundelein. Huge menu with a wide assortment of foods. Italian beef, hot dogs, Italian sausage, polish sausage, pizza puffs, onion rings, gravy bread, burgers, chili cheese fries, tamale boats, and all other manner of delicious delicacies. Bright and cheerful interior and fast and efficient service. Fountain sodas as well as shakes and malts. Plenty of parking behind.
Not the best but a very good Italian Beef($8) - had it wet with hot peppers. Packed with meat, one of the better beefs around. Bread did not hold up to being ‘wet’. Wish they had fresh cut fries.
We’ve been waiting to visit this place for quite a while. We’d drive past it many times and it always looked so inviting. Food here is phenomenal, it did take a while for us to receive our food but it was well worth the wait. The burgers were very delicious and juicy. Prices are cheap for the quality of food you get back!
Popped in for a quick bite. Got myself the Gyros with fries. It was so filling and delicious. It was cut thick with the right amount of sauce. A little to much onion but I just took some off. The fries come right of the fryer with just the right amount of salt. Have to come back and try their Mundelein burgers.
Best Chicago style food we’ve gotten in the area in many years! Everything was fresh and delicious! Service was friendly and fast! Place was clean. Also nice option for decent seating outside; it is off RT45 so can be a bit noisy. The food is amazing and we will be back more often than not!
The food was good I ordered 6 hotdogs 🌭 😋 for me and my teenager sons and my wife had a cheeseburger 🍔 😋 she said that it was good also. They definitely give you plenty fries👍and parking lot was tight but we got in b4 it started to get crowded, we ate and was on our hr drive back home. If I ever have to go that way again I would definitely stop there again
Food was pretty good. Fries got cold and hard quickly. My son's huge burger actually filled him up! Atmosphere was bright and cheery. The girl that took our order was very nice.
Nice greasy spoon for quick lunch. I was in downtown Mundelein for asphalt placement. Definitely worth the wait. It gets crowded but moves quickly. Pretty sure they don't use frozen patties for the burgers. Really good fries and I would definitely come back.
