Fried chicken wings are the best! Fried gizzards were a bit mushy and chewy, not as crisp as I like it. Clam chowder was the bomb. Dumpling soup was okay. The tuna sandwich was extraordinary. Grilled cheese was yummy. This restaurant is definitely worth a try. Also, the worms and dirt milk shake was pretty rad!

Oh my, the home cooking type food here is phenomenal. Best fried chicken in town, by far! And everything else is exceptional too. I had the mashed potatoes and gravy, yum. My girlfriends had the chicken sandwich, and an all meaty with a raspberry fudge shake. The guy at the table beside me has the burger, and it looked so good I can’t stop thinking about it. I absolutely appreciate being able to get an affordable tasty meal. Can’t wait to go back again!

Tried this place for lunch, so sorry I didn’t try it before as we leave Anchorage tomorrow. Best wings i have ever had! Perfect amount of sauce, cooked perfect, very meaty. Great service too. Restaurant has been around since 1955 but the place is kept very clean. This would be my go to place if I lived here.

I love Lucky Wishbone they never let me down! I had a Salted Carmel and Peanut Butter Shake it was amazing!! I usually eat fried but today I had a jumbo cheeseburger, yum!!! The only thing is it’s a little pricey 2 burgers 2 shakes 40.00$

It was recommended for me to come here by an acquaintance and I'm sure glad I did! The chicken was sooo good! Actually everything was soooo good! The cornbread, the shake, the biscuits...all of it. It was said that the founder of this restaurant was very close to the military and when he passed away the military flew the jets overhead in his honor. Really just a cool restaurant in a cool town with cool and friendly staff and amazing food. Be sure to stop if you are in town.

Fun little diner. The gizzards were awesome and this comes from someone who has never liked them. I crave them now. The seasoning was flavorful and they were tender, not chewy at all. The malts are so good too! The corn muffins are soft and caramelized on the tops. My only complaint is that the gizzard don't come with ranch. It's $3.50 for 3oz.

Food was great. Old timey diner feel. Chicken fried perfectly!

I love this place. Quirky and the walls are covered with military memorabilia honoring everyone from the blue angels to four star generals. The food is fantastic! They are known for their fried chicken, but honestly, the burgers are delicious as well as the soups. You should try the corn fritters with honey butter. I always feel Thanksgiving full when I waddle out of there!! Great, great place. Pricing is good as well. Enjoy
