I really wanted to like this place but SO MUCH SALT, on all the orders. Have tried lots of solid Indian restaurants in different states and this one misses the mark. Not sure how they got the other good reviews. Nice staff though.
On a business trip and found this place. The food was absolutely fantastic ! Fresh food with absolutely delicious flavors. You have to understand, there is cooking time with fresh food, so be patient. This is one of the best Indian restaurant in Indiana so far. I wish it was closer to my home in Missouri !
Amazing food! We ordered 5 dishes since we didn't know what to try. Everything was incredible. The mix of flavors, the tenderness of the meat. This is the best restaurant in Kokomo, hands down.
My favorite Indian cuisine restaurant!! I came for lunch with my family and had their combo lunch #4, an order of cheese naan and mango lassi. Their butter chicken curry is creamy, savory and so very good! The mango lassi is a smooth sweet fruity yogurt drink that I love. The naan varieties are amazing!I usually alternate between choosing cheese (cream cheese filled), garlic, and regular. Service- the staff is always kind and helpful. Every time I’ve gone, the two gentlemen who run the shop have been great at recommending dishes, advising on spice levels for curry, and helping answer my questions about allergies. I have a pretty serious tree nut allergy and they have been so careful to accommodate to ensure a safe and delicious meal. In fact, they try to avoid using nuts in general because of their clientele having allergies commonly to nuts. Specialty Shop- if you are looking for a variety of ingredients for some cooking or are curious to try some new food, look no further than Lucky Indian Cuisine’s store! They have a great selection of dried goods: rice, lentils, beans, spices and more. There are desserts, Ghee, cooking oils, coconut oil, snacks, drinks, and more. It’s a must stop for those who love cooking or are just curious! This is my favorite restaurant in Kokomo!
When I go out to eat with my friend who is vegan, this is our go-to spot to share meals! We start with an order of Samosas as an appetizer, absolutely delicious. This time we ordered a potato and spinach dish, as well as a chickpea dish. Both were extremely satisfying! Our dishes came with rice, and we both had enough food leftover for two boxes. The naan bread is fabulous. It's good to be adventurous and try the different flavors. We enjoy the cherry one when we need a little sweetness. In summary: The meat dishes are great, but I'm just as satisfied by the vegetarian/vegan options. Bring a group and order various dishes to try a little of a lot!
This place is delicious!!! We were just passing through, looking for vegetarian options. Staff is super friendly, food is fresh and delicious! Very many selections in their market as well. Great stop for Indian cuisine!
Great food, huge menu, friendly service and the market next door is well stocked. Everyone we interacted with there was warm and sincerely glad to have us there. Went above and beyond to find the brand of pickles they serve in the restaurant over in the market so we could have them at home. Will absolutely return the next time I'm headed that way!
Lucky Indian Cuisine was by far the best Indian food I've had! Service was great and we got seated super quickly. The even made some dishes fresh for us but, we also enjoyed their lunch buffet. I think I found my new favorite place to eat here in Kokomo. They had vegetarian options for me too which is a huge plus. And even something sweet for afterwards 🖤🖤 Give it a try!
