Wait staff was friendly, was seated rather promptly, and food was delicious. Best dish was the cioppino as it had such a depth of flavor. The crab fries were surprisingly better than expected and all the seafood tasted fresh. Would dine there again.
Great experience at Louie Linguini’s. We went there just before visiting the Monterey aquarium and had a lovely moment. The view from the restaurant is fabulous, scenic view over the ocean. The staff was super nice and careful. The menu is full of choices from sandwich to pasta. The food was overall really tasty. I really enjoyed the tuna burger with coleslaw and homemade fries. Kids menu offers plenty of great dishes as well.
Seated immediately. Food came out quickly. Server was very sweet. Lots of screaming children (not the fault of the restaurant). My son had the spaghetti and meatballs. He was a BIG fan of the sauce but did not care for the meatballs. I had the chicken piccata which was great but lacked capers (I had 2 on my plate) and sauce. The veggies and rice were a great accompaniment. Price was typical for a touristy place. Overall decent place to eat and very kid friendly.
Italian restaurant on Cannery Row serving pizza, pasta and seafood. Prices are very reasonable for the location and service was good. They have plenty of gluten free options though they are not marked on the menu. The server was very knowledgeable about allergies.
Great patio ocean view upstairs and good food! Fish and chips is light and not too oily. Can’t beat the view after visiting Monterey Bay Aquarium! Also very dog friendly with dog menu as well.
I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food is here at Louis Linguini's! The pasta sauces are absolutely amazing. The grilled shrimp was plump, juicy, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. And they have very good garlic bread! You won't be disappointed at Louie's!
Service is only 4 stars because of confusion between waiters on who was serving us, and so we ended up waiting longer than was desired to be addressed at our table, but once we were addressed the food was very fast and took 5-10 minutes to get to our table. The food was high quality with good serving sizes and a proper amount of seafood in those dishes. Very fun vibes in the restaurant with a fun feel while still providing good food and service.
Excellent Italian seafood dishes. The calamari appetizer was fresh, not frozen. Shrimp scampi was delicious and the shrimp aurato (sp?) also was delicious. We also split a tiramisu. Very good, much creamier than I have had at other places, and I think I like it better creamier.
