Best sandwich ever. Loved the staff. I got the ham and lettuce and onion and Mayo on white and would SO RECOMMEND. Couldn’t have asked for better.

Very relaxed and homey environment. There is a lot of seating and free WiFi. I am in the area, for work, about once a month and come here for lunch every time. The menu is full of homemade comfort foods. Delicious!

The service was fast and the staff was very pleasant. Their bakery was fresh and delicious but that's kind of where my good comments end. I have the chicken and chive soup which seem to be lacking flavor and had a gelatinous texture which was kind of off-putting. A corned beef sandwich which I chose seem to lack flavor and was overpowered by the tomato and mustard combination I did happen to see the rest of the elements that were being made and will perhaps try that in the future.

I have been eating here for decades. The owner takes great care of his employees, they work extremely well together as a team, and that's why they have continuity for years with their staff. The food is excellent. They do everything right here - Great food, Friendly staff, and Fairly priced. Can't say enough about Loaf and Jug.

My friend and I stopped here for lunch. What a wonderful place. Sandwiches were delicious-food is freshly prepared. Couldn't pass up the pie slices and we were not disappointed! The staff was very nice, restaurant was clean. Can't wait to go back and try more menu items.

They could have had more diet or healthy bread/wrap options. The homemade french onion soup was bland. Desserts and Pies pies looked amazing. Reuben was decent but something was off with the corned beef, or maybe it was the thousand island.

Came to the loaf and jug with a couple good friends today. We showed up right away at 11 since it tends to be quiet busy and packed later in the lunch hour. Everything was great! A sweet lady making pies suggested we try the popular summer salad so I decided to try it. It was delicious! I also got to pick a muffin that was included. Bonus! The others I was with tried the #9 a grilled chicken sandwich on a parmesan basil roll and a #7 which was a smoked turkey sandwich. Both looked delicious! The people making our food were friendly and engaged in small talk. They made great suggestions of what we should try on the daily pie list. Our whole dining experience today here was just very pleasant and welcoming and just an overall cool comfy place. I would suggest this place to anyone!

Food was great. I had the Reuben and chicken chive chowder, both were fantastic. The soup gave me a very home made feel, not the microwaved stuff from other soup joints. I definitely will be returning.
