The hot dogs were delicious and very authentic. The tamales were very dry. The Italian beef was a bit dry. Should have ordered it wet. Not the same as in the 60's but very good just the same.
I stopped in during my lunch hour for a quick bite. This was my first and last time here. I ordered a gyro meal, gyro meat were odd shaped chunks not slices and the fries would have been alright had they not been refried several times. Save your money, over priced and the quality isn’t great! Food was overly greasy and I didn’t even get any napkins.
Food is good but pricing is inconsistent. $4+ for a hot dog and $4+ for French fries. Who are they fooling?
Grew up going to Little Louis almost daily! In town visiting and it's just as good if not better! Yummy! Had the merkts cheddar burger, fries, chicken fingers...all were fantastic!😋 Thank you, Little Louis! For always hittin the spot!

This is a good greasy Chicago hole in the wall place. Food is good, staff is friendly. They have some good creative menu items. The reviews complaining about the cheese are funny, it's Merkts cheese not plasticy American cheese! Anyone saying anything bad about this place doesn't know what they walked into or why they are there.
Ordered a gyro. Meat was cold, big chunks of meat not slices like a gyro should have. Excessive onion. Very disappointed, I had good hopes going there for the first time.
The food tasted great but way too expensive. A very small burrito costs over $13 and a small fountain drink is $3.40.
