The menu seemed promising with a variety of classic dishes, but the execution fell short. The lack of seasoning and creativity in the dishes made the meal feel dull and unmemorable. Requesting a refill on coffee was a challenge. The rest of the staff were friendly and accommodating. I would give 3 stars but they get an extra star for being a diner

These are the kind of diners you look for. The ones that you don't see right away. Food came out quickly and was delicious. The man who took our order was kind, wasn't afraid to joke around with us, and I felt very welcomed there. I don't know what it is about diners but they seem to be inflation proof, food was cheap but certainly did not taste like it. 10/10 I will be back!

The food looked good but it wasn’t. Zero seasoning. The home fries did not have onions or seasoning. My French toasted tasted strictly of eggs with a faint taste of cinnamon. The pears was not caramelized they was just tossed around the pan and crispy still. The breakfast sausage was your basic freezer sausage. The eggs was not seasoned either. I went here before years ago and the food was delicious.

Owner / Manager was friendly and the menu was provided when seated. Ate there alone due to being in a business meeting out of town for the day. Atmosphere was bright and had a nostalgia feel. Had tuna melt, was good. A bit too much mayo. Marble rye delicious. French fries, hot. Offered a takeout box for my leftovers!! The prices were unbelievably economical. Was nice to see. Parking available for me directly out front on street. No meter! Loved that.

Went here for the first time today. My boyfriend said he had not been to this place since its previous location in Harvard Square. Unfortunately they were so busy that they were not doing lunch dishes that day - so we will have to come back to try those another time, because everything on the menu sounded so good! We each got a different one of the 'Little Dog' plates, with eggs, bacon, and pancakes or French toast. Also ordered the fruit cup with yogurt and honey on a whim, and it made us very happy! It is absolutely worth the money, there's at least 7 different types of fruit in it, all hand-cut, not from a can, some of which I can remember: mango, figs, redcurrants, blueberries, kiwi, peaches... So if you want a really fancy fruit cup, get it here :) All the yummy breakfast food we had on our Little Dog plates was so tasty, perfectly soft and golden pancakes and French toast, delicious crispy bacon. It really hit the spot. There are 3 older guys here that must be the owners, and they were cooking and cleaning up and making sure everyone was happy! Can't wait to come back and try more from the menu.

This place is cozy. The service was great the owner of this place is a nice man. He spoke to us and told us a story about the band that photo he has on the wall. The food tasted good. I like how everything on the menu has its unique name. I love when people put the effort into what they are doing. I ordered Shroomister Omelet and Romeo & Juliet French Toast. Everything was delicious.

Excellent salmon Omelette this morning. Old world interior. Very friendly waitress. Made to order. Counter area, and about 10 tables. Extensive Omelette menu and choices (see pic). Would definitely return.

What a wonderful diner! Food options were amazing for breakfast! My wife and I stopped in and had an omelette and Berry-Berry French Toast. Both were amazing! It’s also wonderful seeing all the photos and history over the decades at this location.
