Breakfast Menu "Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken" Wausau

The only Lee's in the state of Wisconsin. I am from Dayton, Ohio so when I say this food is better than all my Lee's there is saying something. I appreciate the Manager allowing me to get fresh too. In Ohio and Tennessee I can do the same so it makes me feel better I can get it that way. Im just uber picky. This place I only get to go to maybe 4 to 6 times a year. I appreciate it and the foods great!

Finally I get to eat inside instead of being brought whatever everyone has leftover. It did not disappoint! Great food! The spicy is not too spicy!! Absolutely loved it! Will eat here again and again! I started reading reviews..... KFC has never ever been the same for the past 12 years. Yuck! Lee's is your best bet. Just call ahead and ask for some fresh chicken if you're a picky person.

This is a take out place. You can eat there, but the.dining room is small / simple. It lives up to its fame in regards to the chicken. Only fried chicken, sides and amazing biscuits. Fave sides are slaw and mashed potatoes. All of them are good.

The first time I went was last year, it wasn't great. We tried again a few days ago, asked for additional biscuits and were charged for them but when we got home we had no biscuits 🤷🤦 I'm hoping next time I can improve the rating. The food was definitely better this second time 🤗

Just moved to wausau so many options for food. We ordered here today staff is amazing as well as super friendly. Cheese curds to die for chickine and biscuits amazing mash potatoes and gravey great. Mac n cheese very bland...potatoe salad might have been better of not warm because of it being in with chicken and the baked beans not for me. We will be back for a few things customer service was the big win for us very personal and clean restaurant. Let's not forget about the sweet tea maybe a tad bit more sugar but other then that loved it

What can I say that most locals don't already know? You want goof chicken and a good sized meal? Go to Lee's. It was good 20 years ago, and is still good today.

I went here with my girlfriend, we both got the 3 piece meal. I was filling my pop and the meals came out, it took 1 minute max. The chicken was pretty good, nice and crunchy with the tender white meat in the middle. The only complaint was the mashed potatoes and gravy, it tasted pretty bland and the texture was pretty gritty. Next time I’ll get a different side.

The service was awesome but the food just was not up to par. Could have been way better and the chicken was not crispy in fact it was under cooked.
