I had been here before so was expecting great food at reasonable prices, but there was a bit of sticker shock upon receiving the bill. Granted it IS at a resort, but for a couple hundred bucks I would have expected a bit more flavor or unique presentation instead of the safer relatively in-seasoned combination of the same three vegetable offerings and proteins. The food wasn’t bad, and was cooked safely, but that’s where it stops. High prices for fairly un-exciting results.

This was close to where we were staying. The dining room doesn't look anything like the pictures but it was a slow night so it may have been a different setting. My wife's rose tasted a bit off. The walleye cakes tasted good, I thought the addition of celery to the cake was interesting, but probably unnecessary. Our fillet was cooked perfectly and was nice and tender. Overall a good dinner spot.

Beautiful lakeside resort and restaurant. We sat outside on a covered porch with the lake not far away. The cocktails were very good and the food was delicious. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend having a meal here.

Rode motorcycles for 12 hrs today. Looked up a place to eat. This looked near the water. It was 50°F out but we ate out on the porch to view the lake. They put the overhead heaters on for us. The dining room had a good view of the lake and a warm fireplace too. While waiting for our food we went out to the lake and looked at it for a bit. Breeze was chilly so we retreated back to the porch with the heaters and out of the wind. Food was reasonably priced for the location and portions were very good. We were full but not stuffed. Tasted great. Loved the sweet chili vinaigrette sauce they had with green onions. Just delicious. Would definitely go there again if in the area.

First time here and it was a wonderful experience! We sat next to the large windows and had the pleasure of a beautiful view. Our server was so nice and the food was very good. Walleye was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of the cheese curds or the chicken wild rice soup but both are a must try! The chef even stopped by to deliver our appetizer. Very glad we found this place!

Some of the best Walleye I have ever had. Highly recommended place to eat if in the area

It was okay. Food was pretty good, and they had some unique items on the menu-- for example duck wings. The soups were also quite good. The view and location were great! We had to take a few stars off for service. Although, the staff seemed very friendly, they were very slow. It took a long time to just get water. They weren't that busy, but still just had one sever working. In our opinion, there should always be at least two on, you never know when rushes can come. Another idea would be to have a host staff? The one server working seemed to have a lot of extra duties, like cleaning the host stand and tending to the fire in the lobby. Overall though, decent food, and good potential if staffing changes are made.

Super convenient having the restaurant on-site. I do wish there was a bit larger selection. My wife and I split the burger for takeout the first night. It was good. So good that my wife had it again a couple of nights later. I went with the walleye. I was not disappointed. The parmesan crust was just right. The wild rice pilaf was excellent. The broccolini was cooked to perfection. Patrice our server was a rockstar. And the bartender (didn't get his name), poured perfect Long Islands. Like our stay at the Cottages... Perfection.
