This bakery, at least it’s name has been around since I can remember and that would be at least 1984 i am sure it was established before that. Stopped by to grab a quick bite and about the only thing I can see that has changed is the menu boards atop. Never seen this type of concept at a Colombian bakery before which leads me to think if this place is still Colombian. Got Myself a beef empanada which wasn’t too bad but very soaked in grease and the grease itself had an overly burnt, used taste to it. Along with that I got me a chorizo which is sausage, that wasnt bad but I believe it needed more cook time as it was undercooked. these sausages are ordered from a vendor so that’s about the same as any other Colombian bakery. Service wise the two people behind the counter should acknowledge there are people waiting online, they definitely need to be more customer oriented. Interior has not changed much from what I could recall. The exterior should get some fix up as everything looks like it was from the 80s, awning looks like it got mauled by a tiger. For a quick bite it’s not a bad place to go.

Anytime I'm in the area. I always stop by to eat. Good spot for breakfast

Good Colombian food at affordable prices. Courteous service.

the churro donuts are huge and super cheap

Best thing about it, is the early opening hours: most days they open at 5am. The quality of the food is okay, nothing special. Even though the bakery items are freshly baked during the day they have a lot of room to improve with better ingredients/techniques.

Staff attitude is very bad, I don't recommend the place.

The backers had a fair selection of goods, I do recommend giving them a shot. Only recommendation is to request for certain goods to be heated.

Some of their bread on the display case are old. Bread and cheese, the cheese went bad taste like alcohol. Bread and raisin, the raisin also went bad, taste like alcohol. It seems they use too much of food preservatives that makes the bread last longer, but they can't fake the old filling.
