The atmosphere was nice, had a few flies, could be from the outside seating. I sat inside. The food was amazing, just wanted to see three Enchiladas like they do at other Tex Mex spots. The staff was nice, they spoke well and had smiles on their faces. I'll definitely check this place out again!

La Palapa is very run of the mill Mexican food. The fajitas appear to be the best thing to order hands down, as mine looked better than other dishes people got. The fajitas were quite filling and large, so that was appreciated. The margaritas were very watered down. Overall I wouldn’t make it a mission to come back.

What an absolute GEM! Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere! We dined on the patio, under perfect weather conditions. The food was prepared expeditiously; and Julia's service was delightful and timely, as well as insightful - assisting our party with meal selection. 5 STARS!!! 💖

So far I've been here twice, and I would highly recommend it. Really great atmosphere, service is friendly and also attentive. Camarones a la Diabla are very good, just the right amount of spice. The queso dip was also great! For drinks, would definitely recommend the michelada or one of the many different margarita offerings. The horchata is good too! Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Delicious and very filling Mexican food! It is very difficult to find a table outside even during the weekdays, so I suggest to book online.

Went to La Palapa Grill about a month ago and had a wonderful time with friends. It is pretty spacious inside with about 4 different sections, It was fairly crowded but the service was courteous and prompt. The food and drink were great and the portions were huge! Highly recommend this place for a casual and fun dining.

It probably has been just over 6 months since we have visited La Palapa in EC because school was out and we vacationed a good bit during break. Prior to that we regularly visited La Palapa's at least 3 times a month. So, we were all pretty excited to go there this evening for dinner. Once there nothing really has changed appearance wise. But, once we started to look over the menu there was the change. Pricing has drastically gone up. Now, I wouldn't normally complain about pricing because of course cost of goods do go up. BUT, when my Guadalajara burrito that I ordered was placed in front of me my first reaction was that I was served a kids burrito. Nope, it was mine. So, costs go up and size goes down. In the past the burrito was placed length wise on the oval plates they use, now the burrito is placed up and down. I would say the burrito is half the size it used to be or less. Seriously though and not joking, a fast food burrito is bigger than the Guadalajara burrito I had. Taste was OK, nothing to be extremely excited about. With this being said, it will probably be another 6 months or more before we decided to go back. We will probably visit other Mexican style restaurants in the area for comparisons of the foods we enjoy...comparing cost, flavor and size.

Very busy on the Thursday night I went. Pretty decent margaritas, can get salt & sugar rim. Street corn was surprisingly good. Wish they didn't put cilantro in literally everything but that's just personal preference. I rate 4 stars because the fajita salad lacked substance and the tiny square of cornbread that came with it didn't do much to compensate. Great service!
