I’ve been ordering bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches here for months and finally had a chance to go by in person. The owner was wonderful to chat with and got to try her food today which was amazing and all fresh. Huge plate of food and the taste was phenomenal, don’t miss this up and coming gem!
If you want to go and experience first hand home-made cuban cuisine visit La cocinita Cubana! I drove 2 hours just to eat here. The friendliest and caring owner. The way She takes time to talk to you and make sure your order is cooked to perfection. The Cuban sandwich what a master piece! The mojo on the pork is just so flavorful, the croquetas are just so fluffy and that smooth taste, the palomino steak nice and tender, the papas rellenas OMG!! The pizza empanada so cheesy and filled to the extreme! This is my Top 3 location of all times!! I am already planning to go back soon.
It was the best Cuban sandwich ever! It was our last day in Tampa before we headed home to NY. My husband loved it so much we bought 4 more to go! Took it on the plane with us! The owner was lovely. These sandwiches were reasonably priced and so very delicious. Can't wait to go back. My only wish is that she would ship.
This place is a heaven on a desert. Excellent food, great taste, the authentic Cuban flavor. I try the white rice with black beans, beef minced meet ( picadillo a la Cubana) and plantains. Excellent combination with a Matelva ( Cuban soft drink )
Stopped by to see how good their cuban sandwich was. Not bad the pork has a distinct flavor to it and is shredded . Not quite as much meat as some other places the bread wasn't as hard and crunchy which suited my mom . The lady who served us was very friendly.
best Cuban food in Brandon. Very authentic. I had the picadillo, moro rice, and sweet plantains, and it was terrific. I will definitely go back.
Some of the best Cuban food I’ve ever had. Everything tasted amazing and was well prepared/seasoned. I’m still thinking about the arroz morro I had yesterday. This place is a hidden gem. I will definitely be returning.
Average Cuban sandwich. She made it seem like the stuffed potatoes were homemade. Definitely didn’t seem that way. It was over cooked, all the breading fell off after the first bite. The meat filling was exactly like the frozen potatoes from the grocery store. Not the place for me unfortunately.
