Went for lunch and ordered the taco dinner, with beef (asada), rice and beans. Tacos were good but not seasoned as well as some I had the day before from them. The meat seemed a bit drier as well. The rice was cooked and seasoned perfectly, refried beans were bland, the red sauce for the tacos was delicious, not too spicy but packed with depth of flavor. Didn’t care for the green sauce, too acidic for me. The sauce for the chips was good and the chips were crispy. Ordered 2 chicken tamales as well. One was seasoned well, the other was bland. Not sure if these were two different batches but they did not taste the same. Reasonably priced except the tacos ($3 each). Clean restroom. More of a take out place than dining in. Only drinks available are bottled drinks. Can get 4 stars if the food is consistently seasoned well, fountain drinks are available and prices for tacos are more in line with restaurants in the area.

When you first walk in, there is no one to greet you...no music playing, not a single customer in sight. When someone does greet you, it seems as though you're bothering them. While I was trying to place my order, I was interrupted by some woman, leaving the place, yelling "¡Ayuda me¡" to who I assume was her kid, that was trying to take my order. After ordering, we sat at the tables and waited...The waiter brought us some chips and salsa, which all three of our party (2 young adults and Adult) notes that the salsa tasted off. We refused to eat any more of it. Chef Mic was on call today, as we heard the microwave ding three times and the food was out at the table within 5 minutes of ordering. My kids ordered steak tacos. The steak on the tacos was dry and lukewarm, lacking any seasoning. I had the wet burrito...it was cold cold. The sauce on top was watery and cold, the steak was cold, the cheese inside wasn't even melted and the tortilla was tough and stale. The beans were the standard prepared beans out of a can. The kicker was the rice, the rice was dry and wet at the same time, and as you can see in the picture, very broken and looked like it had been cycled for a few days in the warming tray. I barely ate 4 bites of the burrito. Probably the worst "Mexican" food we've ever had. Zero chance of returning as it wasn't just a one item issue, it was a terrible experience in the whole.

Passing through town. Stopped based on reviews. Ordered 3 authentic tacos pastor to go. Double corn tortillas. They were excellent! Loved they’re green sauce as well.

When I’m in town this is where I always eat! Nobody does tacos like they do.

Went in to ask when the taco truck by the gas station would open. Lady behind the counter said later today...wow very helpful....Ordered a wet burrito with extra chesse. Got a burrito with salsa on it and NO cheese meat was tough. Old lady seemed offened , did she make the food herself? Wouldn't give me my money back , so got 3 steak tacos. Meat was cold. Not our first time there, decided to give then another chance? Won't go back. Can't wait until LA Perla opens back up.

If I could give them -10 I would they suck there rice was horrible and hard like days old rice!!! Which was mixed into my food cause didn't know it wasn't gonna taste good. I was wrong and they refused to take my plate back or replace it after bi brought it and I didn't complain about there drymeat that's was supposed to be steak the food was horrible they only wanted to replace 2 dollars off ola 13 dollar meal that was ruined there there hard rice

First time here, stopped for lunch and had Mexican style, steak tacos in flour tortillas with rice and beans. VERY VERY GOOD! Flavor was on point, the steak itself was stand alone good. Will definitely be back!

Limited drinks. No horchata. However it has that legit Mexican fast food feel. Good portions and like walking into a similar restaurant in Southern California.
