110% one of my favorite sushi spots in this area. Wes has created an establishment that makes you feel at home. Staff is great, food is great. They even have exotic snacks. If you haven’t been to any of their locations yet; make sure you do. They never disappoint.

Overall: 4.75: Delicious, freshly prepared sushi! 🍣 My fav rolls are the Pinstripe & Dragon. Flexibility to special order menu items. Modern atmosphere, excellent service, well-stocked bar & situated in Pike & Rose by other trendy hotspots, stores & restaurants. Large patio seating area & pet friendly. 🐶Note: Tables inside are very close to one another so it’s a little noisy.

I visited Japan in 2017, and the sushi was so good that I couldn't enjoy sushi back in the states for a couple years...until I discovered Kusshi Sushi. Hands down best sushi in the DMV area, but I also enjoy the option for bar seating so I can visit for a casual drink with friends, or a full blown dinner. Kusshi also has great ramen, which means I don't have to decide between Kusshi or one of the nearby ramen spots. I dine out very often at all kinds of restaurants, but the seared fatty salmon at Kusshi, the friendly service of its staff, and the beautiful/convenient Pike & Rose area make Kusshi a consistent favorite.

My husband and I went for dinner at Kussi Sushi for the first time and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious. Specially, the raw oyster was so good, small but very juicy. I guess they were milk oyster. We were delighted with this dinner.❤️

Very cute sushi restaurant. I will def eat hear again. Friendly staff and great service. Nice quality sushi and a great variety. Additional non sushi items on the menu as well. Spicy tuna is S P I C Y lol. The salaryman drink was very refreshing and light.

Located in the very popular pike & rose, this is a very solid, if not inventive, place for sushi and sake if you have a craving. I sat at the bar and oddly the hot water was broken so I couldn't get a tea. It wasn't busy and the bartender did a fine job of getting me drinks. Not friendly or rude, but proficient. I happen to enjoy chatting with the bartenders when I'm at the bar but that's just my preference. Eel & cucumber roll had way too much eel sauce, but the octopus app was outstanding so I'm giving the food a middle ranking. Photos of both so you can judge for yourself.

i absolutely love this place, def my most frequented dining out spot, i have also picked up take out a few times because i crave their sushi specifically. everyone that works there is so kind and welcoming. amazing service, food, and cocktails every time! obsessed, hope to try one of their other locations soon!

This is my favorite sushi place in moco! I highly recommend this place for those who are trying sushi for the first time. They also have a menu with cooked food if you aren’t feeling sushi. My favorite thing to get is the seared fatty salmon it’s amazing!
