I had a late night Saturday date with hubby and some friends. If you are looking for a lively location on a Saturday night, look no further than Kona Grill. They have “Happy Hour” on selected food starting at 9:30pm on a Saturday night. No drink list Happy Hour though 😕 The DJ was ON POINT! I am a GenX POC and the DJ definitely appealed to my group playing what we all know & love HOUSE MUSIC, which was originated in Chicago! But, overall, his music selections were great. We were dancing in our chairs! 💃🏾We enjoyed his play so much that he acknowledged us when his set ended at 11pm! The food was great as always. This was not my 1st visit to Kona but my 1st review. The Sushi & Salad was enough food for me and for $20, it’s worth it! Everyone enjoyed their meal and the atmosphere! I’ll definitely return in the future!

The GM was the best! He took the time to answer all my questions and gave great recommendations. I will definitely be back soon. He definitely saved my experience because our waitress was not helpful.

A really nice Asian inspired restaurant with very good sushi and other items. The service was great and everything tasted great. All of our items came out quickly and fresh.

Came for the late night happy hour. Everything was good. My server jeramee was awesome and was on top of everything. Definitely coming back. Only got one pic. I was so hungry.

We were in for dinner, and our server Matt was terrific. Very knowledgeable about the menu and food allergies which I have. This was our first time there and he answered all our questions and made sure to tell us which dishes had the ingredients of the food I’m allergic to. Impressed. Never had to wait for a drink. He made sure we had everything we needed. He definitely made our experience here a great one. Will definitely recommend him to friends and family. Wish all servers were as well versed and attentive to their guests as he was. 5 Stars!

4.5 stars overall is way too high in my honest opinion. It needs to drop a full point. I asked to each their favorites since it was my first visit. Their calamari was a very small portion for $19. Then the French dip was $24 for a smaller portion as well. The French dip had massive flavor which saved my night and to top it off, the carrot cake was divine. The only portion that was larger than expected. I’d check out all the other nearby places before stopping here.

Had a wonderful time coming here for dinner. There was a live DJ playing some bangers the whole time, which really set the mood. Our food was delicious and our server Julia made the experience even better with her warm and friendly demeanor. She even brought a piece of cake for my birthday, which was super sweet ❤️ Thank you all so much for the great experience!

The steaks we ordered were ok, nothing spectacular. The sushi rolls were good, some better than others. Overall it was good, the service was lacking, but other than that the place was ok.
