The pizza tasted good. Cheese bread was black on the bottom. I ordered half pepperoni and half sausage. I get half cheese and half pepperoni/sausage. Also I ordered cheesecake - no fork or napkins. Delivered to a hotel with no silverware. A little extra prep to make sure the order was right - could be 5 stars.

This place is really great! I was staying at the Riviera Hotel on PCH in Dana Point and getting pizza delivery from some place that wasn't a chain was a dream come true! The best part the pizza was Fantastic! Delivery quick even on a Friday night. They have a great menu with all the normal pizza place fare as well as some very creative offerings. The kids loved the Hawaiian Pizza, with bacon bits as an extra topping, and I was very happy with a create my own - Tomato, Pineapple and Fresh Basil! Crust was thin and crisp, you know the kind you actually eat, and brushed with olive oil for added flavor. We split a large Mediterranean salad, which was perfect as a side salad for three. I will definitely order from here the next time I am in Dana Point!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I ordered online to have it delivered at the hotel. I decided I wanted to order another pasta bowl, I called six times no one picked up. I called from my husband's phone and they picked up right away ( how convenient when my number was on the online order). My original order was an order of wings, 1 pizza, 2 2 liters of soda, 2 cheesecakes and a pasta bowl. Then I ordered a second pasta bowl and he said it would only be $11 in cash. When it was delivered the guy handed us the food and I asked for my second bowl of pasta and as he says there was only one he tips over his bag and guess what falls to the floor MY PASTA. Then I asked for our second soda he claims only one was ordered. At this point I said whatever and my husband hands him a $20 because he wants his $16 for the pasta and I said no it's only supposed to be $11 ( I was being charged a second delivery fee when I was told wasn't) then the guy says " What a great experience" to the gentlemen that helped him bring it to our room. So my husband closed the door because the both of us are upset at this point. I look into the bag where the cheesecake was and guess what, only one slice. I opened my pasta bag and it was crushed of course but So was my husband's. My cheesecake had chocolate spilled all over the container, I'm assuming he dropped that too seeing how it was supposed to be in a little container. So I called and spoke to the same person I ordered the pasta and explained to him what happened and where our second soda and slice of cheesecake was. He says that by looking at the receipt I only ordered one of each and I said no if your looking at my receipt on the right side it has the number 2 by both of those items. He says yes but it say the price on left and then goes to say I KNOW MY PRICES. WOW! I got extremely upset and hung up. I then called back a few minutes later and said look we need to go over this because I paid for items I didn't receive and I spent a lot here. He says well I didn't like your time and I said I didn't like the way way you were talking either. So let's start over he says. I agreed. I said please get the receipt and let's go over it together. We did about four times and he kept saying he didn't understand what I'm saying. He finally says What do you want me to do? I said refund me the money for the 1 soda and 1 slice of cheesecake. I didn't even ask for my change for the $20 or the delivery fee nor for the food that looked like crap and fell to the floor. I am giving a one star due to the fact you have too plus the food was good except the cheesecake. That was a loss of $70 in my opinion.I would not recommend this place as they do not have customer service skills whatsoever.

Found Kokomo's by accident on a trip, not far from where I was staying. Had a ceasar salad. Good, not soggy, or with dried out lettuce (any fan of them know's what I mean !). And tried the Hawaiian pizza, liked it a lot, nice balance of sweet and savory. You can't get Hawaiian slices where I live, so it was nice to see them and not have to wait for or order a whole pizza. If I lived near it, it would be on my list of regular places. It was nice to be surprised when I needed some good comfort food. I'd go again.

The pizza here is the best in town. As far as customer service, they are dicks. I called because my girl friend and I ordered a large pizza and when we received it, it appeared to be smaller than what we had expected. So I gave them a ring just to see how big their XL's usually are to make sure we got the right pizza. The guy who I spoke with over the phone was so rude to me. Apparently they changed the name from the XL to the "Jumbo"… He kept acting like I was in the wrong for not knowing this when in reality they should have just told me from the start that the XL is now the jumbo, would you like that instead? But no, this guy was so crispy with me I ended up hanging up on him because he wouldn't shut up about the dam XL being the "Jumbo"…. Just ridiculous.. I'm planning on calling again today to speak with the manager about how I was treated. I have been a loyal long time customer and I'm so disappointed that I had this problem with them..

Was back in Dana Point, CA. What a great surfing spot. We ordered for pick up 2 large pizza's. We order a large Spciy Pepperoni and a White Wash Pizza. The spicy pepperoni was really good it had a hottest that builds with each bite. The white wash is a White Pizza, with with garlic, olive oil, mozz and rictotta, and parmesan. Made for a great lunch on the beach. Outstanding thin crust pizza!

The best pizza ever. Literally. Only trouble is its tough to get in without a 1.5+ hour wait. Worth the wait, but if you're not game for that, check out their sister pizza restaurant Proserpina's (not sure about spelling!) - it's also excellent, though not BYOB and also not as cozy a space.

Fantastic service and fantastic Pizza! Called another famous alphabet pizza chain (closing time 9pm) at 8:30 pm and was told it was too late for delivery. Called Kokomo's at 8:45 (closing time 9pm) and they were happy to take my order. Delivered by 9:15!
