Every time we stop here, the drive thru staff is so wonderful and today was just as wonderful as every other time we stopped. Waited out front for the fries to finish, didn’t take long at all, and the person that brought us out fries was kind enough to give us a heads up they were very fresh so very hot. Always smiling and so kind! And the fries were amazing as always.
This location is SO much better than the Elizabethton location. Not only did I get all of my food (the Elizabethton location did not put my son's meal in the bag after I asked the very arrogant and rude shift manager if everything was there...he gave me a smirk and said of course it is), but the food at Mountain City was fresh, delicious, and at my table in five minutes flat. Great job, guys!
Went through the drive through 2x and recieved the wrong order. First time walked back in explained calmly I was handed the wrong order- the woman and later found out the manager just stuck the bag back on the warmer for the person to come back for after me telling her I'd had my hands in it to open it. Whoever was served it is lucky I unlike most wash my hands. Couple weeks later gave it another go hoping another staff again got the wrong order and my girlfriend then went in this time because I was honestlt afraid if I got the same hostility again I myself would likely snap. Long and behold the same older woman and manager had a horrible attitude and was slinging things as food was being remade (both of our sandwiches needed to be plain- and were with everything, we only asked for the sandwiches be corrected and again nicely doing so) . Obviously okay staffing people as miserable as this and no care of how it effects the customer. I've never returned and will drive to Boone or Elizabethton first.
You know what you're going to get at KFC. Mediocre. Everything is. Mashed potatoes from some reconstituted potato flakes. Brown gravy with its chemical taste. Edible if you're hungry. Ditto for the rest of the sides. If there are no other options KFC is a better bet than most burgers, but not by much. On the positive side the staff were very friendly and the drive-thru line moved along quite well. Was very hungry and this was the only food for miles. When we came out of KFC 5 miles later we ran into a nest of fast food outlets. Wish I'd have waited. McDonald's never gives me indigestion, the chicken definitely did.
I will tell you this KFC had the best chicken and chicken livers I have ate,a little white hair lady and a younger gentleman was very helpful and service beyond for fast food
Worst fried chicken I ever had tastes like it had bleach or something on it to me. I took three bites and had two they get inside and throw it in the trash number one meal white meat
It was great,my granddaughters loved it. Like all eat out now ,the price was high,still cheaper than Golden Corral ,by $25 for 3 people.
Their honey is fake high practice corn syrup. . And their mashed potatoes taste like their Powdered The chicken is good.
