Super friendly people. Food was great. But the cash register and everything on the counter was covered with dust. Obviously hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The ice and soda machine is DISGUSTING. Probably hasn't been cleaned in MONTHS. Also had fruit flies (or something similar) flying all over near the soda machine. Makes you wonder if they don't clean the counter and ice machine, are they cleaning the food preparation areas ? Manager seriously needs to do a full inspection of the building, and get to work cleaning. I bet if the health inspector walked in, they would shut the place down.
So sad. We walked in & immediately found the floor so slick that it felt like a skating rink. Saw 3-4 people waiting for their food, but we proceeded to the counter to order...and waited...and waited. Five minutes passed before someone finally took our order. Proceeded to the drink station & found no lids for our cups. Skated our way over to a table to wait for food, & found it disgusting. Saw that NONE of the tables were clean. When food was ready, found no silverware in the holders on the counter. When I asked the server for silverware, I mentioned (nicely) about the tables needing wiped down, & she just shrugged her shoulders. On our way out the door, slipped & almost fell on the greasy/dirty floors. Overall very disappointing because we love KFC food...just the level of service was non-existent, & the filthy customer-facing areas made me wonder what the conditions were like BEHIND the counter. We definitely won't be back to this location.
Chicken breading was white and soggy. Didn't even look good. Coleslaw and mash potatoes didn't even come close to filling the containers. Not very impressed!
I take my star back .Zero Stars ! Was traveling. Stopped got some KFC got down the road 69 Tossed it in the garbage at the rest area because it tasted so badly. And didn't even appear to look like chicken. I would recommend that the local Board of Health doing inspection as soon as possible this food made me sick the entire evening and the next day today.
I don't visit KFC often but I love the new Beyond Chicken. I've had it at one other place and they understandably say that it'll be a wait to make it fresh. This location wasn't initially aware that Beyond Chicken can only be served fresh so I got rubber nuggets. Fortunately they had no problem making a fresh order and I make sure to order it fresh here every time now.
Friday, June 9th, 5:30pm. My wife and I when we get the chance to have KFC, make our way and usually order a big meal. We pulled up and there were about 4 cars in the parking lot, and we were the FIRST in the Drive Through. We heard the greeting and then a young lady came on and took our order....$49 for everything...My wife likes the Crispy KFC and I like the Original, but we went with ALL Crispy. We drove home, and only live just minutes away from KFC near the Fair Grounds. EVERY bit of our meal was Hot, Fresh, well packaged, tasted the best I have ever had at this Restaurant. I was not just impressed, but blown away at the meal and its taste. The service was under 2 minutes at the drive through window, which at dinner time and preparation with most take out orders in Coldwater can be really challenging. My hat off to the Management who obviously hit a home run with their planning, the crew who obviously listened to their management and did the chicken and side dishes right, and to all of them for restoring my faith and belief that there are people in this world who still take pride in service. Great Job!!
Wow!! Walked into the lobby and was so overwhelmed by the pot smell, it was literally unreal! You could smell it before you even walked in the door, was so gross, got our food to go, tried finding the franchicise owners number with no luck
Best kfc we’ve had in a long time. Especially late after dinner rush. Chicken was juicy and fresh. Order was prepared correct with nothing missing.
