Food was good, just not as great as I had hoped. We both had the tasting menu (go before 5:45). Mac nut crusted ono was good, just not super flavorful. The rice was honestly better than the fish! Keoki’s style also good but the okinawan potatoes were not for us. We had asked for the banana coconut pie for dessert and instead got served the taro bread pudding. Not bad, just interesting. Not something I’d order.
Service and atmosphere were great, staff were all very friendly and attentive. The lobster risotto was really good, along with side coconut shrimp. The keokis style fish (Wahu? was fish) was really good with the Okinawan mash, but the fish itself was either slightly over cooked or perhaps just not a tasty fish. The garden area seating was very nice, got outdoor breeze and they had a beautiful garden area. Just watch out for chickens, they tried to eat some of our toddlers food.
Absolutely gorgeous place and the drinks we had were really great. Delicious and strong. We each ordered the burger and were very disappointed. We both ordered it to be cooked medium. Mine was well done, and my friend's was pretty much rare. Fries where room temperature and had no seasoning at all. Tasted like the unremarkable baked fries you got in grade school cafeteria. The bartender took the initiative to get us new fries without us even asking him. He was really nice about it. Second round if fries were only slightly better, not by much though. Aside from the food, like I said, the atmosphere is wonderful, the service was great, and the drinks were yummy delicious!
If this place was on the ocean, all other restaurants would be out of business in Poipu. Great food, excellent service, and live music. Our waitress was incredible! You won't be disappointed with the Hula Pie. 6 people with drinks and dinner was under $300.
We ate here at the tail end of the pandemic when they were short staffed. It was very good. But it's even better now. You van coun on spending at least $40 a person - $55 if you plan on having a single cocktail. It is worth it. I had the pork ribs and my partner had pank and nut crusted fish. Great food and tasty cocktails. Very helpful staff. Reservations are definitely recommended.
Great experience! Live music and atmosphere was top notch! The muffins and Cesar salad were amazing to start our meal. My husband and I both had the fish, ZERO complaints!! (Oh and some fancy adult beverages)
This place has a nice atmosphere, and live music. Our waitress was excellent, very friendly and attentive . Drinks were on point…really good! Appetizers delicious. My prime rib was not that good and the cut of meat was different, and the ahi didn’t taste fresh. But other then that it was good, maybe next time I will try the chicken.
Food was delicious and we loved the live music! We got the seafood risotto, keoki’s style, and I believe the panko and Mac nut crusted fish everything was so delicious. Loved the live music and excellent service! We were celebrating a birthday and got complimentary cake too!
