Sept 2023: this was our first time here. Everyone we encountered was very friendly. Our server was excellent and she gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. The sweet tea was DELICIOUS! We both ordered the Cherry Bourbon BBQ Chicken and let me tell you, that cherry bourbon BBQ sauce was amazing. The mashed potatoes were great too - nice & moist to where you don't need a side of butter, sour cream, or gravy to eat them. The batter for the fried pickles & onion rings was nice & light, but covered everything. Definitely recommend everything we tried!

This is our style. Vegetarians, you will have to get a salad. The rest of you can enjoy a well-rounded menu. Honestly, anything with the bacon jam is a can't miss. The bacon jam burger was sensational, even though I had to forgo the jalapeños. The liver and onions, yeah, I know, seriously though, so tender. The bacon flows like sweet tea in this eclectic atmosphere. A gift shop will occupy your time while you wait. If you enjoy comfort food and bacon. Seriously, vegetarians or vegans, I am telling you, stepping into this restaurant, the love of bacon is in the air and garnished on everything, with love.

We first get to the restaurant you have to go into a gift shop to get into the restaurant we waited 30 minutes waiting for The hostess to come to the stand and seat us then we get to the table and wait probably another 15 minutes before the waitress comes. Now our waitress was busy and she had been there all day but she was outstanding our issue with the service was that the hostess wasn't seating people and she was never at the hostess stand it did take us a little while to get our silverware and when the food came out they forgot both our gravies. Only issue with food was that the steamed broccoli was undercooked and there was bits of broccoli in there that was bad. But overall it has a simple cozy feel. I also like the fact that they also have diner and a theater to the left of the restaurant and to the right is a sort of fudge shop

We had a great experience with some fresh takes on comfort food. I had the Deep Friend Cheese Burger. Completely unhealthy but so tasty!!! Wife had the Ruben with their own thousand island sauce. Delish! They had a missing soldier table to honor those that gave all. Very cool. We will come again!

We’re so glad we happened upon Kellie’s. We started with Fried Green Tomatoes with Bacon Jam (yummy!). For the main meal, we had Kentucky Hot Brown, which is big enough for two! Delish! Also, Chicken Fried Steak, Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Shaved Steak Sandwich. Everyone was impressed with their meal. Great service! Very nice staff. We’ll be back!

We are staying around the corner from Kellies for our trip and we ordered the catfish and the 12oz Ribeye with mushrooms and onions to go and my husband and I loved every bite! They were super busy when we arrived but they were swift and took great care of us! I think it was the owner who took care of us and she was so kind and just amazing with how busy they were! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area! There was so much food that we had enough for lunch the next day!

Visiting the area. Let me say the waitress was very nice and friendly. We ordered 4 meals, one being the fried chicken which it states takes 20 minutes. The problems began when we received our meals. Obviously 3 of the meals had been sitting for quite some time waiting for the chicken, even the baked potatoes were cold. Poor planning on meal preparation. Another person in our party said the chicken fried steak was tasteless, and only ate one bite. Perhaps it would have been better warm. I do give high marks to the Apple Walnut Coleslaw, it was great. I advised the waitress, and she asked if we wanted to send them back. First rule of eating out, never send anything back. The manager or owner stopped by the table to see how everything was. Since she asked, I told her. I also told her I don’t send food back for obvious reasons, and she became offended that I would suggest such a thing. No discount offered for uneaten meals, at least I would have thought the customer mattered. Even if I lived in the area, I wouldn’t go back.

After looking at the website, we were excited to try this place, the pictures looked amazing! Kitty was less than personable, and not a good server, never even refilled our drinks. Watched her reach her bare hands in the salad station to make our salads. Steak tasted like burnt grill, fries were cold and tiny little end of the bag chunks. Place seemed a bit dirty. The best part was the nice dark haired lady at the gift shop desk... Def overpriced for the quality. Not worth the money! Sorry but I Would not recommend
