Very good diner-style breakfast and lunch. Come for the food, water view and small talk with the friendly owner, staff and patrons. Small, simple and dated interior which personally, I find very charming.
Great food. Friendly staff. And the rolls are not only different but delicious. 10/10 would return.
So nice to have a long-standing, consistently good deli in Westport rather than the poorly staffed deli chains around town. I’ve never had a bad meal from JR’s. Great breakfast sammies. Today I had a roast beef on a roll with horsie mayo, Swiss, lettuce & tomato. It was SO tasty. The roast beef was warm and very tender…might have been seasoned a little too. In any event, for $11 it was very worth it- tons of roast beef. Keep up the good work, JR’s!
Dirty bird, no bread and drizzle of chipotle mayo!!!!!! Prices are awesome too!!!!
Horrifyingly expensive 17.95 for 2bacon egg n cheeses some of the bacon undercooked the ones that were cooked was like eating a shoe, then to add insult to injury found hair in the egg, I understand everything is high but at least have top notch quality, so sad had to throw away 17 dollars worth of food and I’m still hungry
Had the special steak grinder it was top notch meat very fresh. Also had breakfast highly recommended the big bad wolf it was amazing if you like spicy!! Great staff very friendly and professional
I thought this place was going to be good, but it wasn’t. Ordered a chicken fantastic sandwich and chicken was overcooked, dry and hard like if it was a piece of leather, hard to chew. No seasoning whatsoever and price on menu were not even the real price. I definitely won’t go back.
Great little deli. Got a Big Lou breakfast burrito and loved every bite. Good food, good prices, and good service. Definitely worth stopping in.
