Breakfast Menu "John's Place" Yucca Valley

A traditional country diner in downtown Yucca Valley. The menu is a bit smaller than I expected but they still have a lot of great options. You can order to go at the counter or sit down in one of the many booths inside or seating outside. Our server was very polite and fast, even though it took quite a bit for food to come out. They have a large parking lot right next to the restaurant so parking is plentiful and close. We ordered Pancakes & Eggs and both were good as expected. I wish the pancakes would have been a bit fluffier but the butter they used and the size of them made up for that a bit. Also their coffee is very good and I could have much more than I did. Overall a really solid breakfast option in Yucca Valley. I would recommend and would go back next time I am in town.

We are here twice in our two day visit to Joshua Tree National Park, and for good reason. Great food! Great service. If you're eating in, you seat yourself and the server comes to you. Air conditioning inside is cool and good, the seating is cute and old diner style which was neat to see. They also have very cute outdoor seating with vined trellises to make plenty of shade, and heaters for the winter. The food was really good and the portions were plenty and more. Reasonable prices as well. Staff was very friendly and the service was quick and we had no issues either time we went. 10/10

Visited again after not having been here for years. I hyped the place up and it still held up! I ordered their burger and combo fried plate and it was just solid food. I devoured my blue cheeseburger so quickly! I love their zucchini fries because of how the make them like regular fries. (In my opinion this helps them cool off much faster!) Also, their ranch is my absolute favorite and I usually do not care for ranch at all! Food was delicious, service was wonderful and everything arrived quickly. I am so sorry for having neglected this gem of a restaurant and will be returning more often!

Stopped by here for a quick bite. We both got the $7.50 1/4 lb. hamburger special. It comes with fries and a drink. The burger is tasty, but full of lettuce and onion to take up space. Fries are good and plentiful. Iced tea was fresh. I think this was worth it for the money. They also have a 1/3 lb. burger combo for $9.50. I will try that next time. This place has been there for a long time. Staff was friendly and helpful. They have a nice little patio out front so you can eat with your pets. Don't let them on the astroturf though. I was warned. We will be back to try more items.

Been going to John Place for years though since being away from Yucca for years it was nice to see how the old place has changed. The food is pretty good and cheap. You can get a lot of food for the price which is unusual for the restaurants these days who try and penny pinch on food. I got a burger with a egg on it and some sweet potatoe fries which was really good. Don't take my word for it, try it out and see.

What can I say. The food is always great. Great chef's. everything Always as you would expect from there. Had a breakfast dinner. 😋 This is my once a month treat. Love thier specials.

So my wife and I had breakfast here and it was very good. I felt like the prices were very reasonable as well. There was some confusion at first that lead the waitress to be shouting at us wanting to know if it was "to go or stay". But after that things were perfect. Lol

pictures of our food the meatloaf was good chicken soup is a little thin I scrambled eggs for very wet and flat not light and fluffy and my waffle was very heavy and texture beyond that our waitress/server went out of her way and was very helpful and bubbly very kind considerate would love to have her again. she addressed my issues and was willing to change the order but they were so busy I opted not to except for the I switched out the ham for bacon.
