My husband and I ate in the bar side of the restaurant. I like the atmosphere there. It’s larger so there’s plenty of seating. They have two bars, a pool table and shuffle board and TV’s around the area. We’ve come here for years. This time we decided to order the Italian Sub Sandwich, it was the best I’ve ever had. It was plenty big for two people, you also get a lot of fries. The other side of the restaurant is also nice, perfect if you have kids. They have a nice outdoor patio connected to this area, it’s nice.

Incredible service and workers, was sat down almost immediately. Table was not only clean BUT set with cups/waters ready to go. Everything we asked for was provided with quick and excellent service. Delicious food and an absolutely wonderful place!

The pizza was good for what you can get in the area. I got the smallest size pizza pecante and it filled me up just fine. The service was normal, go up and pay for your food and just sit till your order is ready. The pizza place is actually combined with the bar, so don’t let it fool you at all. Bunch of tvs inside along with random vending machine games that kids can play inside so family oriented ambiance. Just FYI prices are not reflected appropriately on website, they slightly raised prices.

Feels like your old school neighborhood pizza joint. Cafe style service, order at the counter. Great tasting pizza, nothing fancy. Cool little arcade games in the corner. Will come back for a quick pizza next time we are in town.

Sat on the bar side and the server was amazing. He took care of the whole side alone. Management, get the man some help. The wings and pizza bites were really good.

Three weeks ago, during the off-season for skiing near Mammoth Mountains, my visit to John Pizza Works was a delightful surprise. The lack of crowds allowed us to savor both the stunning mountain views and the mouthwatering food. The flavors of the dishes were exceptional, and the relaxed atmosphere added to the experience. With the peaceful surroundings and delicious fare, the restaurant provided a memorable lunch. John Pizza Works managed to turn an off-season moment into a culinary delight, making it an unexpected highlight of our trip to the area.

Pizza was great, sausage especially! We had a pizza with sausage, mushrooms, pepperoni, and onions. So yummy and a small was a good size for 2 of us. Staff was friendly and they were super busy, even at 9pm on a Wednesday! We ordered online and it was easy to go inside and pick up. Would return!

First time here for me. I'm not a huge pizza fan but will eat it every now and then. It was very good, I have to say! We had a medium half Supreme and half Canadian Bacon and Pineapples. It was plenty big to take leftovers for my in law's. They're generous with the toppings too, which is nice because many other places hardly put anything! The place has a few games for kids and a bar on the other side for the "big kids" 😀 Highly recommend it 👌
