We went to this place when visiting some friends in Rockford. It was on Memorial Day, and it seems like people always had to wait for a seat. For the food, we tried the skillet, Swedish pancake, stuffed French toast, etc. I liked the skillet and the Swedish pancakes. Overall the quality was fine, nothing really impressive or special.

All of the food ordered was cold. Coffee was so weak you could see through it. Everything was bland. Ordered a steak and eggs. The steak was half raw. The eggs were small and also cold. Too many plates came out and not enough table space. I’m sure there are other places serving HOT breakfast! Not worth the money! I would give this place a ZERO, but the pancakes were DELICIOUS!

We were in town for a graduation and decided to try this place. We are absolutely glad that we did. The food was amazing, and that was the lowest part. The service was even better than the food. There was always someone walking around with a coffee pot filling cups. I love the plausible denyability of a never-ending cup of coffee because if my doctor asks, I only had one cup. The most impressive part was our server. My daughter has nut allergies, and our sever (I think her name was Carol) was very knowledgeable about the products and made great recommendations around them. It's very appreciated! Not only will we be going here the next time we're in town, but I will absolutely recommend ot to anyone else as well.

This is one of the most pleasant breakfast experiences I've had in a very long time the food was wonderful. The service was charming in fast. The atmosphere was exactly what I was expecting old time diner whether splash of Local flare.

😒I normally like J.P. However, today I didn't feel like cooking and wanted breakfast... The lady at the cash register seemed like she didn't want to be there. I did not get a hello. Just gave my name and she gave me the amount. I didn't feel welcomed while i was giving away my hard earned money. If I wanted to be treated rudely and pay money to have that type of attitude that was shown, I could have cooked at home and had one of my family members come by and do that for free! Perhaps it was that time of the month?......... I think I will cook breakfast at home for a while. I need to save money anyway........

I ordered the country fried steak and eggs for breakfast. The food and the service were above average, and the atmosphere was what you would expect from a small, local restaurant. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to this restaurant and will return in the future.

Great mom and pop spot breakfast all day delicious pancakes and giant omelettes. Great portions great good food a must if you're in Rockford. Both my timers going service was laughing because they were new but get yourself a veteran and you'll have a great experience 👍

We really enjoyed our visit here. My wife got the breakfast croissant sandwich with ham, egg, and cheese and she said it was very good. I got the Southern breakfast, which is sausage gravy over a biscuit with eggs, bacon, and sausage. It was all very good. The service was really fantastic. Our server, Jennifer, had a lot of tables and the place was very busy but she was really attentive to all of her tables. If you're looking for a diner type of place with a great breakfast, this is what you're looking for. Nothing fancy, but well above average.
