So many mixed reviews. We had a great experience on a Tuesday evening. Waitress Katie was awesome. The salad was wonderful. The bread and olive oil was amazing. Wife and I split the grilled chicken bow tie festival and it was so delicious. We savored every bite. So that was our experience, nothing negative to share.

Friend took me to lunch at Carinos. Fabulous, I ate too much! Start with bread and dipping sauce with garlic bits, soup and 3 cheese pizza. Wow

My wife and I stopped into Johnny Carinos for quick bite after a day on shopping. The place was not busy at all for a Thursday we had a couple of drinks and ordered our meal . The waiter was awesome, but soon our food came I was a little disappointed she had chicken parmesan and I had the lasagna it was just OK for me . I don't come to this restaurant very much I usually go across the street to the Village. I can't give this place a bad rating its just not my kind of food.

Came here for lunch for my sister's birthday. The gentleman that was serving us was the only server and he did a good job maintaining our table of 5. There was only 2 tables, us and another. He seemed rushed which made ordering uncomfortable. Food came out fast and hot. Due to my diet restrictions, they were accommodating with my requests. I ordered pasta with some olive oil and veggies. The broccoli and zucchini was fresh but unfortunately the zucchini was hella bitter and I couldn't eat it. Overall it was a good experience for my first time there.

Me and the lady were starving, we both used to love Johnny Carinos and decided to go as it has been awhile and we’re very surprised to hear there was no wait. Our waitress was friendly but not attentive. We both ordered Ravioli and were very disappointed. $20+ for Five ravioli? Maybe, just maybe, this could have been digestible if the ravioli was actually flavorful. The lobster had a very off-putting taste. There was hardly any sauce. Entire experience was extremely disappointing. We will never be returning and should have known this place has gone downhill when the restaurant is nearly empty on a Saturday night. Not to mention after receiving our check we waited another 20 minutes before being able to leave. It’s a shame, we love the bread but thats it. Highly recommend anyone reading this to go elsewhere.

I haven't been to eat here in many years. The food is still amazing and our server was outstanding. We went on a Sunday evening at about 6:00pm and didn't have to wait at all.

Will never order take out from Johnny Carino's again. For was cold when we picked it up and we were there before pickup time. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo was gross. Like eating cold wet noodles with no sauce. The chicken was like tv dinner chicken. Yuck! We ordered chicken parmesan and instead got spaghetti with meat sauce. The spaghetti we make at home with jar sauce tastes better. $75 order and it was disgusting! Don't waste your money. Eat somewhere else!

My wife & I used to work in the restaurant industry and we love to explore new local chains or mom & pop establishments when we can. It was our first time here yesterday. The biggest glaring issue here is there was zero personality. The host had no personality. Our server had no personality. It didn't seem like they wanted to be there and it showed. When we entered we stood there awkwardly for a bit just looking around, no acknowledgement as staff walked by. Our server hastily greeted us, rarely ever checked into our table...it felt like it was a rush to get us in and out. It wasn't busy at all either during our stay. There was a big table next to us but that was about it and they came in after we had already been there a bit. Our kids didn't feel welcomed here. The Host said they did have coloring pages (from what I understood), said they weren't up at the front, but didn't bother to go locate any. She just hung out at the host stand on her phone. We've had better service at many other chain establishments that took the time to at least pretend to care. My wife went up to the bar at one point to get a drink and she wasn't once acknowledged by the bartender, who only had three small 2-top tables that she was cashing out. She sat there for awhile before giving up and returning to the table. No "I'll be right with you", no acknowledgement period. The food was alright, pretty standard fare. We didn't get charged for our drinks either, Diet Coke & Iced Tea, which is fine, but management can see even the little things (while again, not crazy busy at all) were being missed. The lack of personality and care in this restaurant completely killed the vibe and our willingness to ever return. We aren't snobs, we are just a nice family that loves to support our local community when able. We were astounded by our time here and the seeming lack of care for the guests in your house. We will recommend friends and family stay away. This may be a one-off occurrence, we all have off days and that's ok! We are more than understanding. Restaurants are rough to work in, we know that very well but our first impression here was very much less than positive and we are bummed we walked away with such distaste for the dining experience at Carinos Meridian.
