Pretty awesome place with a great vibe. If you’ve come for the crab then you’ve come to the right place at Broadway at the beach! We got a captains platter that included some crab legs and we got the Ragin’ Cajun spice on it and that was super tasty as well as just the right spice level. The Great Balls of fire were also a great appetizer, spicy and cool at the same time because they are made with jalapeños and cream cheese. We also got a shrimp dip appetizer that was very good with chips. Finally we had a shrimp platter with four different types of shrimp on it. Everything was tasty and the gently fried fish filets were spot on too. The team was great and our waiter was the bomb. Kind, knowledgeable, patient and overall doing an awesome job! Highly recommend this restaurant especially if your going at a time that’s not too busy. This is the second time I’ve been to Broadway during a time of the year that was not absolutely stuffed with people so it was a nice time.

Relatively expensive seafood combined with slow service and a chaotic atmosphere regardless of when you go. It’s good but it feels like quality of service and food has slowly fallen over the past 5-6 years. The waitstaff is plenty nice but you can be there when it’s super busy or completely empty and it will take largely the same amount of time to get your order. Either way, next trip to Myrtle will inevitably end up with a meal here.

Visit, party of 13 for dinner on May 30th, 2023. Atmosphere is wonderful, Staff were attentive. Clean, well laid out. Beverage selection very good. Good menu selection, but most of the food orders seemed to be lacking.

We use to have a Joe's Crab Shack but it has since closed. Love to go to one when we travel. Fun place to visit and the people are always friendly. Great cocktail specials.

Quickly seated. Not too busy and I liked the décor. The food a came quick, was hot, and tasted very good.

We enjoyed a variety of seafood experiences. The captain's platter had Dungeness crab, fried flounder (surprisingly a little tough), fried shrimp, coleslaw, and a huge amount of shareable fries sprinkled with Old Bay. Not bad! The waitress seemed a little possessive of the Old Bay when I requested some extra, but she finally capitulated! We enjoyed the appetizer - beware the crab dip is caliente! Fried calamari and the crab balls were okay. The decor has plenty to look at. Fun for the kids, especially the hanging shark with a leg hanging out! The weather was beautiful, but we were unable to sit outside because of staffing.

Absolutely phenomenal birthday experience. Came to dinner with my son and we’re greeted and seated promptly. The crab dip from the sampler was hot and absolutely delicious, and the shrimp sampler entree was just as amazing. Highly recommend soaking the jasmine rice in the scampi sauce for extra yum! We were then greeted by Chef Elias and manager Alina & the General Manger Anne who helped lead the team and restaurant in a birthday cheer to celebrate my 80th. Thank you Joes Crabshack and your entire team for making this a perfect evening / celebration this evening

One positive thing is they do military discount 10%. As for the food the shrimp tasted burnt and ya might get a dozen fries with your meal. A friend recommended the place, but I am not too impressed with the prices or the food. The staff seamed a bit lost, we had to hunt them down to pay the bill. If you need your oil changed this is the place.
