My favorite restaurant in Detroit. We celebrate a birthday here every year and it’s absolutely phenomenal. Restaurant is right next to and overlooking the beautiful Detroit River. The staff and management at this location are phenomenal. Seafood is so fresh and absolutely make sure to leave room for their desert cart. Specifically for their coconut cake, my favorite and so good.

Went to dinner here with a coworker. Food and service was good, but we were surprised to see that an automatic 20% gratuity was added to our bills. We both worked food service when we were younger, are very generous tippers, and are used to seeing added gratuity for larger groups, but not on a ticket for one person. We did still tip a little more because we tip for service, but had we got bad service, it would have been a different story. Just beware when dining here folks, it seems tipping is no longer a optional expression of appreciation but a requirement.

Fabulous evening on the Detroit River for our 33rd Anniversary. View was great, food was fabulous, and our server Terry was terrific. The atmosphere and music was on point for the occasion. Thank you Joe Muer for providing a wonderful dining experience. One more shout out to Terry !

The food was amazing as always, but the service was slow. One of the guest in my party ordered a medium steak that came out well done. We had already waited about 45 minutes for our food. Ambiance was perfect and overall had a good time!

We were celebrating our wedding anniversaries with my brother and sister in law. We had a wonderful experience here. The food was outstanding. We had window seating and it was so fun watching the activity on the river and riverwalk. Carl was our waiter and he was excellent. He gave us great advice concerning the menu. He was attentive and polite. I had the Oven Roasted Barramundi. It was delicious. They deserve 5 stars.

We were planning on going to another restaurant but it was full. We went to this place on a whelm, a year after Covid, a day before Father's Day and last minute, but we were lucky they had a table. You usually have to reserve a spot. The food was excellent, had great service. We were recommended the crab cakes by the security guard. They were good, This place specializes in seafood dishes.

We stopped for food and the veiw. The View definitely makes it a five star. The Lobster Corn Dog appetizer was amazingly delicious. The Shrimp Cocktail prawns were delicious and huge. The Lettuce Wedge salad looked wonderful and a good-sized portion. We took it home and never even got a chance to eat it. The Lobster Bisque was the best I've ever tasted. The walleye was okay. Maybe I've just had a lot of delicious walleye in the past, but this was just ok. For $47, I don't recommend ordering it. Ok, but Bland. Probably the most disappointing was the Scallop appetizer for $25. There were 2 Scallops that tasted like they were boiled or heated in the microwave in water. There was no flavor. I ordered a glass of House Chardonnay. The bill showed $17. It cost more than the other name brand glasses of wine. We almost missed this, so make sure you look at your check. The gratuity is already added.

Went here for my birthday last night and it was amazing. Had the dry aged wagyu steak and it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had in my life. Staff was amazing, the ambiance was great, and the food was high grade. Highly recommend for special occasions.
