Nice deli & decent food. Our waitress was very pleasant. We had to rush out shortly after receiving our food and she was accommodating. We took a Challah bread, Chinese Cookie (Almond w Chocolate on top) and a Black & White cookie to go as well! Yummy!!!

Had the "Sky High" corned beef on rye, super tasty sandwhich. I was expecting it to be a little larger hence the 4 stars instead of 5, but it was good, the free drink refills and service good as well, all worth a try.

Great food, but c'mon..... $25 for a sandwich is ridiculous! Wouldn't have been my first choice, but our client paid. Feel like this overcharging trend is out of control, between prices of entertainment in Vegas, and even theater food/candy prices, it's becoming the norm and everyone is becoming numb to it all.

I got the half sandwich and half soup: corned beef sandwich and broccoli cheddar soup. The soup was decent but the sandwich was dry. I was so disappointed. The only reason I gave it a 3 star instead of 2 was only because the usual breakfast stuff was good, especially the pancake. I would probably not go again because the prices are too pricey for the quality and amount you get. I'd probably go if my friend wants to have brunch, since she seems to like going here for breakfast maybe because its convenient.

I would say not worth it. The food looks nice but is highly priced (really) and very bland. They also got my order wrong. I give it three stars for the carrot cake.

It's been 29 years since I've last been here, I moved out of state, but the warm service and great food are timeless.

Reason for visiting: waiting to pick up my dad after his dental surgery, which was across the street Date/time of visit: Wednesday afternoon, ~1:00 PM Pacific Parking: free in the adjacent lot, shared with other businesses. Parking can also be found on the side streets, metered parking on Ventura. Didn't see a valet option. Party size: 2 Environment/ambience: wasn't too crowded, mostly older folks since it was still early in the afternoon. Sat at the counter. Service: service at the counter was great. She was easy and fun to talk to. Also come around often to check on us. Food: didn't order any food myself but my brother had the appetizer sampler (mozzarella sticks and onion rings), which looked good. Had a few beers (Heineken); they offer Stella, Heineken, and few other beers. Bottles only and no drafts, along with wine. Cost: wasn't too bad, ~$40 for 5 beers and the sampler appetizer.

Really good food but expensive. Some of the sandwiches (such as Sky High Corned Beef) are $24.00. We had one Sky High Corned Beef, one Pastrami sandwich, one full order of onion rings and 2 soft drinks. Our bill before tip was about $61.00. All food was very good. I would like this place better if sandwiches were more in the $15.95 range. Atmosphere is nice and seating is comfortable.
