Ordered the Mongolian Beef. It was okay. I think the pan/wok was too hot, it had a bit of smokey/burnt smell/taste. But not so bad that I sent it back. Was still okay. I would not order it again though. Was never asked how my food was, or how everything was. Server was very nice though, and maybe a bit new and overwhelmed, not sure. The atmosphere is strange - Asian Bistro, but still decorated as Jakes BBQ. And the music was playing Salt N Pepa's - Push it - push it real good in the back ground. Not really what I think people want to hear when sitting down in an Asian Bistro. I will try take out some day soon for the Pad Thai.

Delicious! Stopped by after a long drive and soccer match at Bender Fields. Had a hefty, juicy pulled-pork sandwich and sweet potato fries as the side that were perfectly crispy outside, soft inside. My sidekick had the brisket sandwich kids meal and loved it. Initially saw Jake's listed on the NCA FC website.

I came in for a late lunch and ordered the brisket platter with mac and cheese and onion rings. The brisket was cooked perfectly -- no need for a knife, just a fork. Really friendly and a nice spot as well. I will be back!

Best BBQ ribs in the area! Tried their brisket and loved it too, bravo to the chef! 👏🏻

I had the double cheese and bacon burger from their Underground Burger menu. Absolutely wonderful! I was a Five Guys fan, but they've reduced their burger patty so small that you'd be lucky if it's even 3 ounces anymore. Underground is my new go to place in Lynden or anywhere. No more Five Guys.

We ordered a big rack of ribs to share and it was great. Service was also good. I have only been the one time but I will be back.

What a treat!! Never would have expected such a fantastic plate of BBQ way up here in North West. Brisket was moist & well smoked, pulled pork was jucy & tasty and the side were top notch. Clearly, a Southerner has put this all together. 😄 Well done!!

Crinkle fries were very good, I'm not much of a crinkle fry person but they were great. Underground burger was good. Bacon was awesome, patty was good. Would of perfered the onion cooked and not raw, but to each his own.
