I have given this local spot a few tries since it opened. My first experience there back when it opened was amazing--The food quality was regal and the employees were always accommodating. I dined at this dump on Sunday and a lot has changed for the worst. The staff was unfriendly and abrupt. It took forever for me and my wife's simple draft beer to get to the table. We ordered the conch cakes as an appetizer and they came out very under cooked. After asking my waitress for a manager multiple times I flagged down another waiter who took them back to the kitchen to be cooked more...Still no manager. For entrees I had my old favorite dish the Salmon platter. It was dry unseasoned and the sides were microwave quality. The two small pieces of shrimp in my wife's salad were a great display of the obvious lack of concern being put into this establishment. After we were nearly finished with the main course our appetizer returned from the kitchen just in time for us to pay our bill and leave. This place used to be enjoyable but the cooks and waitstaff I saw out back congregating as we drove away need to spend more time in the restaurant then smoking cigarettes. Go to the key lime house or grumpy grouper if you want to try a local staple as opposed to this fly by night failure.

Poor service, waited quite awhile before a waitress came to take our order. Had to remind the waitress for our drinks. Ordered the all you can eat fish fry and barely finished my one piece of slightly greasy fish. Husband had fried fish, shrimp & scallops, heavily breaded, had to ask for his side salad which had seen better days. Won't be returning, food & service explains why the inside was empty.

We went for the first time tonight and the service was horrible. The hostess got our order for us and then we had a waiter who had too Many tables to handle. I will say the fried gator was excellent and the beer was cold but the our dinner was flavorless fried macadamia nuts grouper that was sticky. On top of that the manager gave no care when I asked for a refill on "ICED" tea he just put more tea in the glass with no ice. We didn't even eat half of our food and we wanted out so bad we weren't even going to argue about the check. $60 down the drain.

Casual comfortable environment. I have only sat outdoors at the bar area. Good place to go for (1/2 price appetizers)at happy hour. Cold beer, good service and good food. I love the fish fingers and have had good gator bites.

Used to be good. Was in there yesterday and it was like we were inconveniencing the bartender by ordering drinks. Tried to get Blue Moon and they're out of oranges. Tried to get the fish dip and they're out of that too. Pretty much your staple item and your out if it. Pretty much worst bar service I've had. So then I go inside to use bathroom and they have a Christmas tree still up. It's fricken MAY. Grumpy Grouper is right. This place sucks. Won't be returning. Can't believe this place is still in business.

This is not the grumpy grouper that was across the road.. Shame :( The service was excellent, they all wanted to help. Service would get a 5 star. Ordered wings, oh my gosh: ordered garlic and buffalo 36 in all. 1st) Overcooked! 2) they were honey garlic, more honey which dripped off the chicken, hardly no garlic. 3) Buffalo, not hot at all, maybe mild. The chicken had no meat on it. I am so disappointed. Menu well, you would have to go yourself to see.

I tried it today. First thing I noticed was the sticky tables. My bad for not leaving then. Next came the hair is the salad. Followed by the stale Nacho's. They don't have half the stuff on the menu, and the waiter never asked how I wanted my steak basically a tiny piece of meat surrounded by fat. To top things off they tried to over charge us.

Looks like a typical beachside lounge bar and restaurant, but the service is horrible. We went there for lunch and waited an hour for our sandwiches to come out. We watched as other tables, with more people, that arrived after us were served before us. We ended up filling up on sodas and never got to see a shred of food. Our complaints to our server went unheard and no one seemed to care. I would recommend that you go somewhere else.
