Absolutely loved my dinner tonight. It was as so good, great portion sizes and reminded me of home. The service was excellent and the Bollywood music videos playing in the background were so fun. I ordered the Karahi Chicken with two butter naan.
Happened to find this restaurant on Google search and I'm glad we did. Only one other table was occupied when we went for dinner, so was not sure how the taste was going to be. But, the items were delicious, portions were not small and the hospitality of the hosts was wonderful. As we were hungry, we almost ordered more than we needed, but the host adviced us to order after looking at the quantity. I'm glad they did that. We didn't finish even half of what we ordered and leftovers were packed and served the entire family for another meal.
I always love coming here. The food is so good, I’ve never had my palette more satisfied. The atmosphere is calm relaxed and design feels authentic. Great service too. Really easy to share food as well.
Food at India's Tandoori Halal is excellent. We tried limited dishes but the most we liked was Chicken Tikka Masala. If someone gets this dish right, then most of the Indian dishes would be good. Nan was very good, soft and buttery and served well with chicken. We ordered take out so cannot say much about the atmosphere but the service was quick. Ordered and picked up in 10 minutes. The ordering experience was fairly good and they spoke good English. The food was well packed so there were no spills. Foil kept the Naans warm. They provided onion, chillies and plates to go with the food. If you are looking for Indian food around the LAX, SoFi stadium, Hollywood Park area, this is a highly recommended restaurant.
This was by far the best Indian food I have had in a long time! I had the Mushroom Marsala, and Dad had the Chicken Briyani, with Rice, Garlic Naan, and Raita, and a glass of wine, all for $60. And I was truly impressed by the beautiful decor, the tapestries, the size of the resteraunt, and the very fun Indian entertainment playing on TV! Lots of Bollywood, lots of dancing. All good! A++!
If your not eating here then what are you eating because the everyday L.A. good gets boring. Stopped in here, and to be honest was kinda meh, it was fairly empty, but just assumed it was that way because they closed soon. Once we sat down we were greeted by the staff, ordered drinks and then our food. We ordered *pictured* Alu and Lamb Samosas, Chicken Vindaloo, plain rice and Garlic Naan. Three types of Chutney accompanied the Samosas which were all amazing, not just on the Samosas. After maybe 30 or so minutes it started getting crowded, but the staff not one time ignored us. The portion sizes are sharable, for some I guess, the spice level was just as we asked for and the meal was delicious, the Samosas were amazing and delicious as well and everything came to us hot still. Would I go back, YESSS! Any time I'm in Hawthorne I'm stopping to get my fix because why not.
First time having Indian food in America. I absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was so flavorful and spicy based on what level you ask for. Everything I ordered was delicious. Would definitely return again.
Amazing and yummy Halal food, Indian restaurants tend to serve almost same dishes but few are good at cooking it with passion :) India’s Tandoori Halal restaurant serves delicious Indian food.
