It was our first time here. We tried their all-you-can-it butter pancakes 🥞 (I think this promotion will gone soon). The pancakes were with maple syrup and salty butter on the side. With maple syrup it was actually nice but I'm not sure if we will return to this place again. Just because it's not something you want to eat quite often. It's not a bad place. The actual cafe is nice. There were plenty of seats. And not a lot of people.
Nothing like coffee and Oreo milkshake to start a Saturday morning. Great atmosphere and service. Food was okay I just feel ihop has really changed its menu and it’s not the same as it use to. Pretty disappointed in the chicken and waffles plate I had to send back.
IHOP is a great place to grab a quick meal, without any fuss. Lovely pancakes, eggs, French toast plus coffee. Open 24 hours a day.
Stopped by late at night to try the new Minion Menu and was pleasantly surprised. We were warmly greeted by our server and the dining room was very clean. Food came out quickly and tasted great. The Minion menu did not disappoint! Been here a couple of other times and the experience has been very similar. Chill spot for breakfast at any time of the day.
The breakfast was good. Fresh made with good ingredients. The servicer was very good and quick to srvice.
The place was busy... But we didn't have to wait for a table... Our waitress was not too friendly due to lack of language barrier but she did her job well enough... Waitress was good but with no smiling face... The food was great as always... Clean restaurant... I can't say anything about the bathroom because I didn't get a Chance to stop in there... We got everything we ordered and it was made with perfection... I will recommend my friends in the Navy to visit the place... You guys deserve a good review....
We walked in with 3 star expectations and left with 1 star service. - ordered a sandwich without tomatoes and a side salad. Salad came with tomatoes and we didn’t know that but weren’t asked if we’d like them on the salad. - salad was terrible. Lettuce wasn’t fresh and it was super boring, even for a side salad - asked for cheese on our eggs and didn’t get it - server took our order and we didn’t see her after that. Not once. Had to ask the manager for drinks and napkins - food was warm, not hot - silly face pancakes didn’t have a face and my five year old called it out immediately - nothing was cleared from our table, not the salad, empty kid drinks or adult drinks. - had to bring our food up to checkout to get a box because the service was so bad Again, we weren’t expecting much but even so, we were very disappointed with the experience.
The Waukegan IHOP could learn from this spot. It's SO MUCH cleaner, the food is hot and came out quickly, and the service outstanding. Shout out to Antelmo very friendly and professional. I was Hangry walking in. Satisfied walking out.
