First off, let me tell you all about the smell: a mix farm/ crap smell, cleaning supplies, lack of hygiene, and small rotting mice. The place was as "clean" as you'd expect… torn seats in the booth, and dirty looking syrup bottles, scratches on the wood along the window sills. the standard wear and tear. The server came up to us within 5 minutes, and was pleasant, however he didn't have enough clean glasses to serve our party of 2- but thats not his fault really.. The food arrived within 10 minutes of us ordering as it should, but there were issues with that as well (we both got the split decision), our pancake had green spongy looking crap on it, much like fungus, and when I asked the server he walked away, so I just didn't eat it, or call the manger because it truly not worth the time over some eggs and pancakes… the eggs tasted like someone rubbed rubbing alcohol on them, and even now my throat is inflamed. We ate almost nothing of our meal due to everything above, and walked to the checkout line which had 3 parties in front of us, and took 10 minutes to finish processing their payments. I would not recommend this place to anyone, unless they're my enemy, nor would I let my cat eat anything from there. I would be happy if I was able to throw up what i just ate
I love the staff and service at this location. But the building itself needs to be gutted. It smells like it is the original carpet that has not been cleaned. I will no longer patronize this location. I will go over to Liberty Rd. 3 stars because the food is good, order is always accurate, hot and service is friendly and courteous.
We live in Reisterstown, and went to 11804 Reisterstown RD, Reisterstown, MD 21136 IHOP for dinner on June 7th 2013, we arrived at approx 5.15PM, the place only had a few customers. Our waiter's name was James ( he was a real service oriented waiter and so nice). It took 1 hour to get 4 omelets with pancakes. There were 4 of us and 2 of the 4 received their dinners without pancakes, the other 2 of us waited another 20 mintues to get our dinners. We asked the waiter why the meal wasn't served together? He couldn't get the cook to get the meals done. I was sitting in a place were I could the waiter James ask the cook repeatly for our food to no avail. We asked to speak with a manager, he was really not professional, and if it was my store, he would be fired. He gave us a bunch of verbage that never really answered our questions. All of the customers who came in after us had their food before us. When I left I looked to the kitchen and the cook was engaged in flirtation with the waitresses.....he was doing nothing but leaning over the counter playing. We have frequented this IHOP, but no more. The manager was anything but helpful, and his employees told him what to do. I have never seen such a poor example of customer service. James the waiter was so sorry for the mess, and he did the best he could...not the waiter's fault
A sure sign of a great restaurant it is always busy and always a long wait for good customer service and good food. Get rid of the smells like you got a top notch restaurant.
I asked for German crepes which comes with lemon butter. I got 3 slices of lemon on top of the crepes.
